Noah's POV:

I was raking the yard and I was honestly bored. I've explored the house so many times already by avoided the attic and basement with a passion. They probably were filled with bugs and dust. Ew. I thought as I looked up at the sky, breathing in deeply. I'm hungry.. I thought before moving back into the house, grabbing my wallet, car keys and made sure everything was closed and locked before heading out to my car. I slid in and started my little Honda, pulling out of the driveway, heading into town.

Are there any places to even eat here- Oh, I guess there is. I thought sarcastically before slowly as I pulled into the parking lot of the bar and grill. The New Moon: Bar and Grill the sign blinked. I rolled my eyes before getting out of my car and locking it before making my way past all the redneck trucks. Okay, Okay. Yes. I know. I'm being judgmental and crap but honestly. If you saw these trucks you would think Redneck. There was a few nicer trucks closer to the front but I ignored looking at them and opened the door, walking in.

The smell of greasy food and beer hit my nose and I grimace a bit before looking around. I felt eyes on me as the door closed. Some country song was playing on the large jux box and I sighed. A young waiter came over to me, smiling.

"Good afternoon! Welcome to The New Moon!" He sang happily. I nodded and looked at him. He had black hair down to his nape and gray eyes, with tanned skin. "Table for one.. Or..." I nodded. "Okay! Follow me then!" I followed him to a booth. Why a booth. I thought bitterly as I slipped in and nodded my thanks. The boy- his name tag was unreadable- placed a menu down before running to the bar. I opened the menu, scanning it. Most of it was fried food, the occasional salad, and soup. There was a large variety of meats ranging from beef all the way to moose. The side were the regular you'd see at a grill; french fries, tater tots, etc. I turned the menu over and looked at the back. Vegetarian. I thought pleased. Now don't get me wrong, I liked me some meat but honestly I hated chewing it. It tired my jaw. I read through it and didn't hear the person approaching until he slid in front of me. I glanced up before reading the menu, unbothered until my eyes darted back up shocked before glaring at him.

"Don't you have somewhere else to be?" I snapped, raising an eyebrow. Athanasios laughed before throwing an arm over the seat of the booth.

"Nope," He grinned like a shark. "I'm perfectly content on where I am." I groaned and rolled my eyes.

"Well I am busy right now, can I ignore you some other time?" I sang, looking down at the menu. I heard a light growl and then the entire fucking joint became silence.

"Excuse me?" Athanasios growled. I rolled my eyes and placed my menu down on the table.

"Tell me. Is being stupid a profession or are you just gifted?" I asked, sarcasm lacing every word. I watched as a tic formed in Athanasios' jaw.

"Watch it." He hissed at me. I laughed loudly and shook my head, looking at him to see him unclenching and clenching his fists.

"I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter." I hummed, glancing at him. A growl filled the air as Athanasios slowly stood up and leaned over the table, glaring down at me. I glanced to the side to see that the entire bar was watching us. I looked back at him, looking him in the eyes and raised a brow. "Gonna tell me to shut up? Watch it? Well guess what, keep throwing shit like that at me and I'll return it back with twice as much force, buddy." I snapped. I was getting tired of being pushed around like shit. Benjamin did it and I only just now realized that. Benjamin controlled every part of my life. Who I was friends with. What I ate. Where I fucking worked. How much money I spent. I was so tired of being someone's toy to push around when they were bored. Athanasios' eyes flared in anger and I swear they flickered yellow before they went back to blue.
