I groaned loudly and forced myself into a sitting position before reaching over to turn off my alarm. I really didn't want to go to work today. I heard a slight jingle of one of the bells on the door handles indicating that Sasha was leaving his room. I glanced down at the time and fell back against the pillows, wiping a hand down my face. 7:00 I didn't even remember setting my alarm clock for this early. I forced myself to swing my eyes over the bed before exiting the room and making my way down the L-shaped stairs. I glanced towards the kitchen for any signs of Sasha before making my way to the porch.
"Sa?" I called. A bang and curse came from the other side of the house before Sasha rounded the corner.
"Yea' Sweetums?" The red haired asked. Sasha looked a little flustered. His cheeks were a little red, contrasting against his pale skin. He had stopped wearing his contacts so his red eyes shone brightly as he made his way to me. I took in his dress, tight leather pants that hugged his figure and a red mesh long sleeved shirt under a black tee shirt. A pair of boots to finish it off. He could be a poster child for Gothic wear I was sure of it.
"I wanted to know if you wanted to come with me?" I asked. Sasha grimaced and pouted before plopping on the bench.
"Do I gotta?" Sasha muttered. I looked at him and raised a brow, placing a hand on my hip.
"If you want to stay here all by yourself, that's fine by me." I told Sasha. Sasha seemed nervous. I felt a small grin slowly move it's way to my lips. "If you come, you get to see Calllll." I sang. Sasha groaned loudly before he moved past me and slammed the front door.
"I'm definitely not going!" Sasha screamed. I laughed loudly and stared at the forest's edge. A movement caught my eye and I saw a large grey wolf laying next to the large tree closest to the house. It was the same one from Athanasios' house that Sasha had been petting. I frowned before following Sasha into the living room. I grabbed my phone off the coffee table and dialed Athanasios' number. As usual, he picked up on the first ring.
"Noah?" His deep voice vibrated into my ear. I closed my eyes in frustration and sighed softly.
"Did you send someone to watch over my house?" I snapped. I heard some shifting and rustling before the closing of a door.
"What are you talking about Noah?" Athanasios muttered. "I haven't sent anyone over."
"The huge grey wolf outside my house!" I snapped. "I'm serious, Athanasios don't lie to me!" I heard a loud groan leave his lips.
"I'm not lying, Noah." Athanasios sighed. "Do you want me to send someone over if you're worried?"
"No- What no, Athanasios." I sighed as I moved into the kitchen and watched as Sasha danced around to find some fruit. "I don't want any of your pack members here to watch me-"
"Noah, I care about you, okay? And as much as I would like to send a couple of them to watch over you, I wouldn't without talking to you. Are you sure it was a werewolf?" He said to me sternly. I frowned and leaned against the island, nodding to Sasha when he offered me a cup of tea.
"I'm pretty positive it was a werewolf, Athanasios! I'm pretty sure regular wolves aren't the size of fucking bears." I snapped and ran a hand down my face in frustration. Sasha raised his eyebrow at me and grinned, making kissing faces at me. I ignored him and shook my head.
"I'll talk to any of the pack members later to see if someone was out there," Athanasios said kindly. I closed my eyes and rubbed the area between my eyes. "When are you coming?"
