Aislinn's P.O.V:
As of now, I want all of the sophomores to report to the auditorium immediately for our “Rise Above This’ program please. Thank you. “Man those little critters always getting their own assemblies. When are we going to get some for our own?” I said out loud. I’m in Mr. Davis’ room, trying to help him organize some papers for the student council presidential race. The voting is going to take place in the cafeteria, during 4th and 5th period followed by the tally up to declare the winner of the race. Kimiko, this Indian guy named Taj, and Pauline, some chick that I just heard about last period is running for president. I didn’t even know that she was running. A matter of fact, I thought Kimiko was going to run against Jake but now that I think about it, he's not even all that willing to put himself in such a situation, especially for the entire student body. Jake is in a sense like Akira, he's all in it for himself. But as least he’s not a dickhead. “Oh there you are. I was looking all over for you.” It was Kimiko; over these last couple of weeks we’ve buddied up. I’m glad that she’s here or I wouldn’t move on over this Rhiannon and Maxine thing.
“Yea. I’m just doing some paper work. Why are you here? I thought you going to be down in the cafeteria.”
“I’m going down there right now, but I just wanna pass by to check if you’re okay?” I raise my eyebrow at what she’d said.
“You’re having cold feet, aren't you?”
“Surprisely; yes. Oh gosh, Aislinn you can read my mind so well.” She said, finally loosening up and acting like her old self again.
“Well, it's written all over your face, Ms. Dander. Kimi, you have nothing worry to about okay. You going to do just fine. Trust me.” I tried cheering her up.
“Thanks, Ms. Troy. I needed that; now I’m energize............................. See you later?”
“Yea. You can on count it, Kimi.........”
“Alright.......Bye Ais,” and with that, she left the room leaving me here all by myself, again. I’m starting to think that I shouldn’t even agree to doing this work. I’ve been in this empty classroom since last period. Man this sucks!! 5th period has done now begun. This is your final chance to vote for whomever you want to become student council president. Your decisions and votes is an important manner in this race. So be mindful of who you vote for. Thank you. “Kimi, your time is almost near. You gotta wait for a few minutes until you make your speech. I hope you do well.” I smiled; talking to myself for the second time today. Man, I really need to get out of here. All of this silent is driving me crazy.
Akira’s P.O.V:
“Hey girl. Aren’t you going to cheer for your boyfriend down at the cafeteria?” I heard Deeny called from afar. I’m checking up on my makeup to make sure that I still look good. This is my third time since the period started. “He's not my boyfriend anymore. I dumped him.” Deeny walked over with an appalled look on her face. She was speechless; I don’t blame her. Most people ask me the same exact question all morning, and when I told them about the breakup, they were just looking at me like I’m stupid. Oh well, it's not my fault that he decided to lock lips with the biggest slut here. I’m not trying to mean but; Rhiannon totally outdid Deeny in ruin other people's relationships.
“Why? You two were perfect for each other.” Deeny finally said.
“that's right. ‘Were’......... I don’t have time for unfaithfulness. Once you stick your tongue in another bitch’s mouth, it's over.” I said bluntly. “It's a shame then.” Deeny responded back.
“Don’t you have anything better to do? I know that you didn’t just leave class to come out and ask me that question.......”
“Actually. I did.”
