Chapter 34

Okay so I'm really tired and so friggin bored.......

Rachel POV

"I still don't get why we have to share a bed." Luna grumbles, sitting cross legged on the centre of the one bed on the left.

We had taken up the use of one of the spare rooms and had put in two king beds on opposite ends of the room.

Luna had on one of Jessica's baggy blue pajama shirts and a pair of black shorts.

Irene had leant me a baggy white shirt and black leggings. I sat beside Luna, braiding my hair before bed.

"Because!" Irene replies grouchily as she pulls on her black shorts and a baggy green shirt over her wet hair and grabs a towel, drying it off.

"Why?!" Luna asks again, getting grouchy herself.

"Because if you haven't noticed, we are four girls among 10 boys, all of which are major perverts and would gladly take us in our sleep if we let them." Irene replies, throwing the towel at Luna.

"Stop being such a drama queen. They wouldn't do that." Jess replies as Luna catches the towel and throws it back at Irene.

"They wouldn't do that to us, you know as well as I they are better than they pretend to be." Jess continues.

Jess had on a baggy green shirt with white leggings as she lay on her stomach on the bed, using her elbows to prop up the top half of her body while she swings her legs.

Irene sat down on the bed beside Jess, braiding her hair quietly.

"Irene......have they still not stopped?" I ask softly, watching my friend, her normally bright silver and blue eyes, currently dull and sad.

She shakes her head,"They don't stop.....and if I don't have a nightmare then I don't sleep at all....."

"I didn't know it was that bad...." Luna says softly, looking down at her lap.

"I didn't want you to know, there is no point in you worrying, it's not like it will solve anything anyway." Irene replies, smiling at Luna and I, her eyes showing a small glimmer of her usual brightness.

"I'm sorry, Irene....." Jess says, wrapping her arms around her sisters waist and hugging her.

"It's okay. Last night was an okay night, I managed to sleep with Laito after the nightmare and no not in that way so get your mind out of the gutter!" Irene says as Luna and Jess snicker.

"Girls! Keep it down please!" Ruki calls from outside the door and I sigh and lay back beside Luna.

"Sorry~!" Jess calls and we listen as Ruki's footsteps fade away.

"So~ What now~?" Luna asks from beside me as she looks over at Irene and Jess.

Irene was tucking Jess into the bed as she had fallen asleep, light rings around her eyes, indicating she was also battling to sleep.

"How long has she been battling with it?" I ask softly.

"Two days....maybe three....." Irene says, stroking her sisters hair off her face.

"Damn.....you guys just can't seem to catch a break..." I say softly.

"We met and the boys, if that is not a lucky break, I don't know what is." Irene replies with a smile.

"We should sleep, come on." Luna replies, getting beneath the covers and pulling me with her.

"Night guys." Irene's soft voice says as the light switches off and darkness floods the room.
