Chapter 33

Rachel POV

Will you come home with me?

A note flutters onto my desk at final registration.

I read it and look around to find Shu watching me intently before his eyes flick down to the note on my desk.

I look at the note and back at him before replying and slipping it onto his desk.

I can't, sorry, I'm going home with Irene and Jessica.

It's okay, I'll see you tomorrow then?

I watch him smile, a mischievous glint in his eyes before he looks back at me and nods.

~Bell rings~

I grab Luna's hand and we head out the classroom and into the bustling hallway.

The sound of lockers slamming and voices shouting at each other, fills the hallway.

I duck just as a book goes flying over my head and hits the person next to me in the face.

"You Ass!" A high pitched voice shouts from beside me and I turn to see a girl with waist length blonde hair and blue eyes, storming past me, the book clenched tightly in her hand.

A guy with black hair and green-ish blue eyes, watches her calmly.
"Sorry, that was meant for him." The boy says, gesturing to a guy that waves slightly, a sheepish smile on his face.

The girl whacks the black haired guy in the face with the book and storms off, slamming her shoulder into the other guy.

It was then that I noticed the hallway had gone quiet,"Awkward..." I mumble softly to Luna who nods and pulls me along, out the school building.

Irene POV

I pace back and forth infront of the limo, waiting for Rachel and Luna to pitch up.

Jessica sighs and gets out the limo and I hear a soft growl from Reiji.

Jess steps infront of me and grabs my shoulders,"Chill. They'll be here. See~" She says and nods past me to the entrance of the school where Rachel and Luna were exiting.

"You made it~" I say brightly, grabbing their hands in mine and pulling them to the limo.

"Obviously, we said we would." Luna replies, rolling her eyes.

"Why are you getting in a limo? We thought you didn't want people to know who you are." Rachel says, giving me a confused look as she climbs in the limo.

I feel her stiffen in surprise as I get in behind her and make my over to sit on Laito's lap.

Laito chuckles and hugs my waist and I lean back against him,"I'm only sitting here to make room for them, okay?" I says softly.

"Whatever you say, babe~" He replies, kissing the back of my neck softly.

I elbow him in the stomach and he grunts in annoyance,"Stop it." I say.

I lean back again as the limo moves and look around to see Jessica sitting on Reiji's lap, Rachel pressed tightly against Shu's side and Luna, sitting beside Kanato while glaring daggers at Ayato, who smirks back at her.

"I wouldn't piss her off, Ayato. Her bite is worse than her bark." I say, watching them with an amused smile.

"Thanks, but I don't think she could even scratch me~" Ayato says with a smirk.

"Do you wanna test that theory?!" Luna says, standing slightly but loses her balance and falls on Ayato with a yelp.

Laito sniggers in my ear,"Deja vu~"
