Chapter 20

Jessica POV

"Well?" Ruki prompted, looking from Irene to me as we stared at him and his brothers.

It was the monday after the concert and my sister and myself had joimed the Mukami's in an old abandoned classroom at the school during first break.

"Do you want to explain or shall I?" I ask turning to look at Irene, with a small smirk on my face.

She smirks back at me,"How about we split it 50-50?"

"I can do that~" I say grinning.

"It doesn't matter who explains, just someone do so before break ends." Yuma growls at us, being his usual grouchy self.

Irene pulls a tongue at him and Kou snickers quietly. "Fine." She grumbles.

Irene stretches and leans back, her arms spread behind her on the table as she leans on them, swinging her legs.

"Our real names are Irene and Jessica Kairo, we are also the Carmichaels. We are part of a witness protection program and are currently hiding from a group of very dangerous individuals. That is why we wear masks and have different names. We work as idols for money and fun...." Irene says with a yawn.

"That.....explains a bit, I guess..." Yuma says, looking thoughtfully from me to Irene.

"Your eyes.....the silver and blue and silver and purple, they are contact lenses right?" Kou says, with a small light of realisation showing in his one visible eye.

I tense slightly but force myself to stay calm and answer him,"Yes." I takes out my container with my contact lenses, from my pocket and open them. I then make a big show of 'switching' my green lenses for my silver and purple ones, which are infact just see through and hence show my actual eyes.

"Cool!" Kou says with a grin.

"Indeed~" Irene replies as I switch my contacts again.

"The tattoos on our bodies are the reason why we wear the boys uniform, it covers our tattoos so we aren't found by the people chasing us." I say, rolling up my shirt sleeve and showing my tattoos.

"But won't they track you as idols?" Yuma asks.

Irene laughs and grins at him,"Nope, they don't know it's us cause we only became idols recently, as you should know, considering you're fans of ours~"

Yuma blushes and looks away, I chuckle,"Silly~"

Yuma growls, Ruki smirks and Kou snickers.

"Irene." Yuma says, turning to look at her,"Who are the individuals who are after you two?"

Irene shoots me a look out of the corner of her eye and I give her a small shake of my head.

"I can't tell you that, sorry." She says, looking at Yuma again.

He shrugs a little disappointed,"It's for both our protection and yours....." She says,"But...."

Yuma perks up a bit as do the others,"I can tell you that there are five of them~" She says with a grin and he grins back.

I elbow her in the side and she glares at me, I glare back. "It's not like they'll ever meet, besides, I just told them the number." Irene growls softly.

I sigh and hear the Mukami brothers chuckle, I shoot them a glare and they smirk but stay quiet.

No-one POV

Little did the girls and the Mukami's know that Subaru was passing by, looking for Shu, who just happened to be 'sleeping' (More like listening to Yuma's moans~) outside the very room we were using.

Shu looks up at Subaru who was staring wide-eyed at the door. Shu stands and motions for Subaru to follow him down the hall. The younger Sakamaki follows his blonde brother down a few more corridors and stops when the elder brother stops and turns to him.

"Don't say anything, just tell the others to meet in the music room at second break." Shu says, stifling a yawn.

The younger Sakamaki stares at his brother and slowly nods,"Okay, I'll see you then."

Shu smirks slightly and walks off down the hall, leaving Subaru to his thoughts.

"Why didn't you tell me, Irene. I thought we were friends." Subaru growls softly before shaking his head and walking away.

Irene POV

The next few lessons after break dragged by, but I felt somewhat....lighter now that the Mukami's new the truth.....well....part of it anyway.

The bell rang and I sigh softly, slumping back in my chair,"Second break, Yay!"

Jess grabs me by the collar and pulls me to my feet, dragging me out the room to the music room.

"No! I don't wanna go! I wanna live!" I whine but let her drag me down the corridors.

"You made a deal, now you must hold up your end." She says and pushes the door open, shoving me through first and following behind me.

I stumble but catch myself before I hit the ground.

"Finally." Shu's lazy voice sounds from the couch.

I sigh dramatically,"We are here!"

Jess chuckles and sits by the piano and I walk over and pick up the violin.

I start to play one of the songs from the concert, my favourite: Shadows. (The actual song Shadows is by Lindsey Stirling, I take no credit for the song whatsoever)

Shu POV

'I know your secret Irene and Jessica Kairo~' I think with a smirk as I sit up and watch Irene play the violin.

Once she finishes the song her sister gives her a little clap and I smile."Beautiful~ As always Irene and Jessica Carmichael."

They freeze and look at me a little panicked. "W-what?"......
