Have you ever been in a situation where after fixing one problem, another one comes up? That’s the situation I find myself in right now. But right from the moment I discovered the second problem my heart kept screaming Jesus, Jesus. My heart wants to trust Him totally, but there is the other part of me that is worried and screaming “what do I do?” I’m in trouble! Then I realize that trusting God is kind of difficult; but guess what Jesus said if your faith is as little as the mustard seed, you can move mountains and nothing shall be impossible to you(Matthew 17:20;). You might not be able to trust wholly and not worry at all because we are in this flesh, but Jesus will always come through for you no matter how small your faith is. Therefore let His faithfulness hold your faith in Him.I’m sure you are wondering what that story has to do with the title up there; I just decided to share my little experience today, it helped a lot. You know how sometimes you don’t know what you have on the inside until you say it or write it down. So I sort of spoke to myself. Yeah! So back to our topic “DON’T FORGET WHO YOU ARE." You know after accepting Jesus into your life, your status changes. You are no longer that normal person with a normal life. You become extraordinary; you are now a queen and a princess (sorry guys, fix yourself in). You are a daughter/son of a king. You are royalty. Jesus changed your status. He put you in the beauty chair, removed your sin and gave you His beautiful life; He gave you a make-over. He beautified you with grace, love and forgiveness.
You became His reflection, His investment, His pride, His Olori(Queen), His lover, His baby, His precious gem, His priority, His number one; all these and more are who you are to God. He holds you in high esteem.
See yourself the way God sees you. Do not look down on yourself because you accepted Jesus. You feel it’s a wrong decision because almost half of the world is against it, you should know that you made the best decision ever. So raise your head, walk shoulders high and be proud of who you are. YOU ARE THE DAUGHTER/SON OF A KING!!!
Please let’s leave our thoughts on why we think some people feel bad and ashamed of their decision to accept Christ into their lives. God Bless you guys. Love you all. Don’t forget to leave your comments.
