Lynn
The first meeting of March was Friday the third, and March was a pretty exciting month for Club that year, in case you missed it. Yeah, that's right, Club was having its first ever annual Hogwarts House Pride Month, and it was going to be hella.
"Hey!" Ely began, jumping up onto the makeshift stage. Our meetings were back in the park as spring dared creep into the air, just enough, and we were so excited. "So, first of all, how is everyone?" There was a sea of "good"s from the group, and then she continued. "We've had plans for March since January, okay, and look. It's about to be good. If you get our newsletter or are in the group chat, then you vaguely know what's about to go down, so if you are not a part of either of those things, my lovely VP Jenna will pass around the clipboard, and then we'll get started."
We were all pretty fucking excited about this, because we were all a bunch of Harry Potter nerds at heart. While we weren't quite on Andrea's level (I swear, you'll never find a bigger fan), we were still respectably pumped.
"Okay. So the theme this month is Harry Potter, but it's about to get competitive up in here so that we can all bond closer as a group. Today, you will find out your Hogwarts Houses if you don't already know, and then you will join your other House members and become best friends. You will know who is what house by whatever shirt they're wearing under their jackets for the older members, so just flock around them.
"This week we're just getting to know each other and all, but all the following weeks are spirited and themed. Next week, we'll be doing spells, and the House that knows the most gets fifty points. The week following will be potions for another fifty, the week after that our own version of the Triwizard Tournaments (which is to say, it will be all Hogwarts, but instead, from different Houses, and your House leader will explain that one to you). The winner of that one will win their house sixty points. Finally, we will be playing a version of Quidditch, and the winning team takes another sixty points. At the end of the evening, we will be awarding, that's freaking right, the House Cup."
Jen stepped up next to her to carry on the explanation. "For the fifty point events, second place gets forty, third gets twenty, fourth gets ten. For sixty, it goes forty, twenty, ten. The House with the most spirit on any given day will be awarded ten points. Any cheating will result in taking away twenty points, and any particularly outstanding behavior will result in the addition of however many point our unbiased adults see fit. Oh, yeah, we have unbiased adults. I will now introduce my moms, Lynn's Aunt Chrissy, and our good friend Agent Tracie Simon! So, let's get started. Ravenclaw, you're with me and Lynn!"
"Gryffindor's with me and Hazel!" Ely shouted.
"Slytherin with me, Jacob, and Lisa," Lauren said. I was a little confused for a moment about Lisa being a Slytherin, but honestly, it makes sense for some reason.
No, the real confusion came when we heard, "Hufflepuff, you will be with me, Ami, and Andrea," spoken by May. "Yes, that is right. I am a Hufflepuff. It is not really that weird."
We all separated and met our Houses, and each of the four adults chose the House which they'd be in charge of. Momma Mary chose us (Ravenclaw), Tracie chose Gryffindor (of course), Chrissy chose Slytherin, and Momma Kate chose Hufflepuff.

"Let the Spelling Bee begin," Ely said at the next meeting, and we all cringed a little, but laughed nonetheless.
"Next year I'm going to make sure that the spells portion has nothing she can make a pun of," Jenna sighed. "Okay, fellow Ravenclaws. Let's win this thing."
