"One week until Viktor gets back," Jenna said, leading me up the stairs. "Any plans?"

"We'll probably go for dinner or something. May's the moirail, she's got first dibs," I pointed out. "Just like you," I added, planting a kiss on her cheek.

"Like hell I do, that's a fucking lie," she laughed. Never mind the fact that I wasn't sure May had dibs as an overall rule, just that when I asked if she was excited to see him again, she shouted "Dibs!" and I was so overwhelmed and caught off guard that I could only agree.

"Sure you do, it's a general rule. Amilia has dibs on Hazel and vice versa, you have dibs on me, May has dibs on Viktor and vice versa-"

"There's no way Viktor takes priority over Lisa," Jenna argued. "No freaking way."

"Well, he's never had a chance to, at least. I think if he was always around, though, she'd spend a lot more time with him. She spent a lot of time with him last year, after all," I reminded her.

"I guess. Are you still going to want to hang out once he's back?" I realized she was probably quite nervous about that, and felt really guilty. With our relationships, we'd sort of neglected her that year.

"What? Of course, babe! You're always going to be my main hoe, you know that," I promised. "If I had to choose which one of you I'd keep, I'd choose you every time."

As Jenna had already addressed, I had been admittedly shitty to Aubrey. I decided that night that I needed to make it up to her, so while Jenna went to sleep, I figured with no school the next day I could pull an all-nighter and nap before Club. Instead of sleeping, I worked on a Henry the Doodle comic for her, the same way that she had for me when she first apologized. I still remembered the last one she made. Homecoming. Before that one, we made two hundred and ninety nine together. We never ran out of stories, only ran out of time.

Yes, she'd been back home for two years, and I was still a little hurt that she left without telling me. Wouldn't you be? I mean, this project we had together, our friendship, everything, and then not so much as a goodbye.

It didn't matter, though. It was no excuse. She was over me, I was over her, and it was time to grow the fuck up and be her friend. So I started working on the next part of the story: Henry and Robin's First Fight.

Henry was always a little shit, so it was pretty easy to write him doing something small to piss off Robin and the whole thing escalating into an argument. They were pretty frustrated with each other, and Robin started ignoring Henry. Henry felt bad, of course, but was too guilty to actually talk to her. Their beautiful bird relationship was on the verge of being over.

Then, Robin decided it was immature and mean to ignore Henry like that, so she flew over to his nest and apologized to him. Technically, she had done something wrong just as he had - she ignored him instead of talking to him, an unhealthy way to handle a problem. Henry was surprised that she was apologizing, because he thought what had gone wrong was his fault, but she assured him that they were both a little to blame. She missed him, though, and wanted to work things out.

I left it there, hoping that maybe Aubrey would finish it with me, and as the sun started to peek over the horizon, I smiled.

Then, my phone rang.

"What the fuck?" It wasn't even quite 5 a.m., so I grabbed my phone to see who it was, and then it made sense. Hazel was calling me on Skype. It was five hours later there. "Hey, Hazel."
