First day of school was over, well at least I thought it was. I feel a sudden force at the small of my back arching trembling out of place. I turn around where a swing had bashed into my jaw. The next hit was directly towards my nose, blood gushing down my lips.

"I told you to stay away!" I hear her squeaky tone speak harshly before taking another hit to my head. I do nothing. I wait for her to hit me like she did the last time. Nothing.

"Go home Xiaoyu." Jin quietly alerts Xiaoyu blocking her kick. Without words, she leaves with loud footsteps telling us she was agitated.

"Are you okay?" Jin turns around, and I am completely embarrassed.

"I'm fine." Anger in my voice arises.

"A thank you would be nice."

"Yeah well, this was all because of you, so stay away from me!" I turn around about to take off, but something urged me to look back.

"Look I'm sorry, I didn't mean that at all I guess I'm having a bad day." I express walking closer to him.

"Come with me." I don't bother to hesitate, I stick by his side in case Xiaoyu decides to come back. We walk for a while not speaking to one another, having each other's company was enough for me. He leads me towards the cottage-like house, with a Japanese garden surrounding the home.

"Mother I'm home!" Jin calls out alerting his mom.

"Jin how are-" she pauses when she sees me, this is not a good start "oh my! Come with me, I'll get you cleaned up." I follow both Jin and his mother towards the bathroom. What I had seen of their house, it was classic-styled Japanese with a touch of modern here and there. She gets a small towel drenching in water and dabbing lightly against my nose.

"It doesn't look broken, so you were very lucky." I sigh in relief.

"Thank you Mrs-" I didn't know what to call her, I don't have a clue what their last name was.

"Jun, call me Jun." She was kind and gentle.

"I think the bleeding has stopped Mom." Jin added, Jun kept checking me out to see if my Jaw was still in place.

"What happened?"

"Xiaoyu happened." Jin rolls his eyes crossing his arms.

"Jin, I have told you many times to do something!" Jun scolded her son.

"And every time I try, she makes the face of wanting to cry, and I can't do anything about it!"

"Do I have to go down to the school?"

"No." Jin spoke swiftly.

"Then do something, because every god dam time you don't do anything, someone else gets hurt, just look at this girl's poor face!" Jin gives me one look, and turns away.

"I'm sorry." He walks away.

"Jin Kazama! Get back here!" Jun yells, but nothing happens.

"I'm sorry Jun."

"It's not your fault," she finished cleaning me up, "I'm glad you came over Aya."

"How'd you know about my name?"

"I have my ways." Jun slyly grins.

"Is it okay if I say goodbye to Jin?"

"Of course, his room is down the hall on the right." I nod heading in those precise directions. I knock on the door opening it enough for him to speak.

"Jin?" He opens the door wide tilting his head to come in. He closes the door behind us and the first thing I notice is his school shirt was on the floor. He was shirtless and sweaty.

"I wanted to say thank you and to say goodbye."

"It's nothing really, like you said it's because of me."

"Jin, I never meant it like that." He takes a step closer towards me as I stumble back. He touches my jaw feeling a small lump that began to occur.

"I know." He whispers stepping away and lying on his bed.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" I say beginning to take small steps.

"Yeah." Jin's half smile satisfies me.

"Oh, I bet you want this back?" about to take off the jumper, Jin shakes his head.

"Keep it." He says closing his eyes. I open the door staring at him for another minute or so before closing the door. I let myself out strutting down and around a few blocks unveiling the house I currently live in. Rika won't be happy...
