Friday. Today I woke up feeling good. Tonight is Julia's eighteenth birthday gathering, and I was excited for it. I had already bought her a gift; a silver necklace with a feather that dangles from it. I place it in my bag, getting myself ready for school. The first Period of school is choosing what subject we'd want to do. I particularly like art, so I'm going to choose it, I doubt anyone else will. I walk down to the school, I take my time. I reach school right on time; I put the necklace box in my pocket before going to the theatre room to confirm my art class.
"Hey! Aya! Julia waves me to come over."
"Hi Julia! And happy birthday! I got you a little gift." I whisper giving her the box.
"Aya... You shouldn't have!" She opens the box, a bright smile on her face occurs.
"This is so beautiful!" Julia wraps her arms around me; I'm so glad to have gotten her this gift.
"I'm glad you like it."
"What are you going to choose for your subject?" Julia asked.
"I'm totally going for art, what about you?"
"I think I'll go for IT, I know what I'm doing when it comes to computers, plus I really enjoy it."
"That sounds good Julia! Do you think Hwoarang and Jin will choose Martial Arts?"
"I'm sure all the boys in here will do it." The both of us chuckle, I head over to the signups for Art and Textiles. As I write my own name down, I see one name that had struck me.
"He's not serious!" I speak to myself before turning to Jin. He smirks before I shake my head with a laugh. We all head off to our classes; Art and Textiles only a few others apart from myself and Jin in the class. I head off looking at my phone before noticing Jin by my side.
"So, you're apparently into art?" I look over to him.
"Oh yeah, totally into it. I could easily draw anything." It sounds like Jin is making this up.
"Yeah right, I'm totally going to believe that." The both of us arrived; the teacher wasn't there, but our task was to draw an animal in realism. I decided to draw a Meerkat. Small and cute, and so easy to draw- well I think so anyway. I look over to Jin, he is sitting opposite me, I take a peak at the animal he was drawing- I'm going to admit, it was disastrous, but at least he tried!
"Jin, what exactly is that?"
"It's a peacock. Why? Are you judging me Yamazaki?" Jin cocked a brow with a side smirk.
"No, no at all." I cover my mouth, hiding my laughter. The school bell rang, it was time for our first break. I headed off before Jin, grabbing Orange Juice, Strawberry Yogurt and an apple from my bag. I sit next to Julia, who was already beside Hwoarang who was giving her neck kisses.
"Get a room you two." I joke around. Hwoarang stops realising I spoke before sitting down.
"I just wanted the birthday girl to feel special." Julia's cheeks blush, I notice she's wearing the necklace I bought her, and an eighteenth birthday badge.
"You're wearing it! That makes me happy." I open the yogurt before taking a spoonful into my mouth.
"I love it, it's truly beautiful." She clutches it into her hand. I jolt feeling a hand on my shoulder, Jin sitting beside me before taking a large bite from his apple.
"You scared me! I didn't expect you to come up from behind!"
"That's what she said." Hwoarang commented. I almost spat out my yogurt before choking from laughter.
