Hwoarang went right by my advice, he managed to ask Julia out just fine.
"I was thinking maybe Central Intelligence?"
"That looks good, I've wanted to see it for ages!" Julia enthuses. Jin looks at me from across the cafeteria before grabbing his tray of food.
"Hey Aya you should see if you and Jin wanna come, kinda be a double date."
"I'm not even sure if I like him yet." I sigh.
"Okay, but do you like about him?" Julia's words make me think for a while before the realisation hits me.
"He's kind, sweet, handsome..." I daze off into a day dream "His eyes are a beautiful tinge of brown, his hair is fluffy, lips soft to the touch... his body covered in muscle and skin is so perfect..." For a moment I smile before I wake up and feel warmth behind me.
"Whose skin is so perfect?" Jin questions before I look down.
"Hey you wanna come with Jules and I to the movies? Aya's coming too."
"I wouldn't miss it for the world." I chuckle at his words.
"Jin, what happened last night?"
"Xiaoyu happened."
"I knew it! God she's obsessed with you!" Julia rolls her eyes as Steve and Shin sit between Jin and I.
"What's going on?"
"Xiaoyu hacked into my Facebook last night and changed my profile picture to an edit of her and me kissing or something."
"Mate she's too into you," Steve points out the obvious "I don't think we have met properly, I'm Steve Fox and this is Shin Kamiya."
"Wow, I love your accent."
"Thanks Guv." He intensifies his accent mocking himself.
One last period before going home and getting ready to go out. Surprisingly, it was finishing off that assignment Julia and I done last night, we ended up talking the whole period about how excited we were about the movies.
"Does the movie start at five?"
"Yeah, I'll meet you there?"
"Sure." I assure Julia before walking off to go home.
"Hey Aya, Mom wants you to come over for dinner sometime, you should." Jin catches up to me.
"That would be great," I nod as Jin still stayed by my side "So what are you doing?"
"Oh. I'm just going to see how Rika is." I stop giving him a glare.
"Who said you could come over?"
"I did." Slowing beginning to walk again, he makes me anxious. What is this boy up to?
A few minutes further silence was spoken until entering the house.
"Oh my god, Jin Kazama! Look at you! You have grown so much!" Rika avoids me and holds Jin tight.
"Yeah, it's been years since I've seen you, and I've been with Aya comforting her." Jin bullshits his way into my mother's good side, I roll my eyes wandering into my room slamming the door. I place my schoolbag on the floor, open up the cupboard and attempt to choose an outfit. I see a three-quarter green sleeve top, and a short flowy black skirt. I undo my tie before unbuttoning my shirt and slipping off my skirt leaving me in my bra and panties. I put more deodorant on refreshing my body. Clenching the shirt, I slip it on easily staring into the mirror brushing my long and wavy hair braiding it loose with a chain of flowers running through it. Blinking, I see Jin in a distance with a grin on his face.
"Jin! I'm still getting ready! I don't even have my skirt on yet!" I exclaim taking my skirt rushing to pull it up as quick as I could.
"Does it matter? You've seen me shirtless."
"Uh now let's not get cocky here, we are friends." I take the grin off his face, I had friend zoned him.
"I see."
"Jin I-I'm sorry I meant for now."
"For now?" I nod putting my belt on grabbing my bag.
"Bye Rika, Jin and I are going now." We leaving without a reply. We head to his house, and no one was home. Jin swiftly changed, we finally meet with Julia and Hwoarang in the foyer of the Cinemas.
"About time you two!" Hwoarang exaggerates.
"The film doesn't start till five." Julia nudges him.
"We have around twenty minutes to kill, but I might go to the toilet, Julia do you wanna come?"
"Yeah." We leave the boys entering the bathroom. I enter the toilet as Julia applies lip stick.
"Did you and Jin go home together?"
"Yeah, but it wasn't like that, it was as if he wanted to follow me or something." I finish up washing my hands shortly after.
"Oh so he just went with it?"
"Yeah basically, he walked in on me getting dressed."
"He what?"
"Well I didn't have my skirt on."
"How did it happen?"
"Well he mentioned the time I saw him shirtless, and then I said we were friends but then I added on for now..." I sigh Julia grinning like crazy.
"You totally like him!"
"Okay I do like him, but please don't say anything, I don't want to get into anything." I plead, Julia accepting.
"Alright, let's watch this movie." Julia adds. We head back out to see the boys smirking.
"Shall we go?" Hwoarang takes Julia's hand, walking before Jin and I. I look up to Jin gesturing my hand, and he took it. Entering Cinema one, lights dimmed and calm, we find our seats. I sit in between Hwoarang and Jin, and for once, I start to feel safe and satisfied with the fact I now live in Japan.
