"Fate? You really think so Xiaoyu?"
"I do, otherwise why would you be here? At this school? I need to let go of him. To be over protective, and to not let any other girl near him, I guess I waited for the right person. Please Aya! Promise me that you will protect him!" She grips my shoulders, my body shakes in fear, but I have to stand tall.
"I promise."

Xiaoyu left, I had sat in the park for relatively ten minutes in sadness Jin Kazama would want to do this. What is he thinking? Why would he want to leave the people he loves? Does he not realise that he would affect those around him?
"Have you been waiting long?" Jin's voice breaks me from my thoughts.
"Huh? Oh. Um no, not at all." I awkwardly laugh as he takes a seat beside me.
"I know I healed you, but I'm still very sorry about all of this." I take his hand.
"Please don't apologise, you don't need to. You could never hurt me."
"Apart from prom night?" I giggle at his comment.
"I was not in a good place then, but I guess we weren't officially a thing. Have we ever been a thing Jin?"
"I don't know, we've had sex but we haven't actually dated per say." We look at each other, his brown eyes shimmered from the sun's glare.
"I've realised now, how many mistakes I have made since I moved here." I admit, Jin is rather confused.
"I shouldn't have turned you down when I did, or date Steve in vengeance, had several arguments with you..." I pause for a brief moment.
"If only I could start again, things may have turned out better, and I wouldn't have hurt you the way I did."
"I didn't help the situation with Xiaoyu. I could have done more myself."
"Can we just start over?" I look up, he has a calming smile; very much like his mother's.
"I'd like that."

Monday had come about, I was sitting down with Rika and Daichi as we all had strawberry waffles for breakfast.
"So, how is everything going with school? You seem to be very distressed lately." Daichi interrogated me.
"There was a bit going on, but it's all over now. I feel like I can start fresh again." I admitted, which had actually made Daichi smirk.
"I'm glad things are working out for you Aya-Chan."
"Thanks Dad." I said without realising I had just called him 'Dad' for the first time.
"Well I should be getting to work, business at the office is busy as usual." Daichi stands before leaving the table. He gathered his things before kissing Rika goodbye and heading out the door.
"Well I must go to work myself, I'll see you after school sweetie." Rika gives a kiss on the forehead as I finish off my waffles. I get up after she left, I wash the dishes before getting my bag. I fix my hair up in the small mirror before walking out and locking the door. Today walking to school was good; the fresh air, the pink blossoms glooming from sunlight. I was glad that today there was no drama, nothing could stop me from feeling this good.
"Miss Yamazaki? I need you to follow me to the office please." Miss Miura asked politely. I headed towards her office behind her.
"Yamazaki, I just wanted to see how things were going. I did see that you and Xiaoyu had a bit of a spat. Is everything okay?"
"Yes. I did have a tough time with Xiaoyu, but we have sorted things out. I feel like this is going to be a fresh start for me this week."
"I'm glad to hear that this has all worked out for you. First period should start in another half an hour, but we have a whole school assembly. Please head to the theatre room as soon as you can." Miss Miura let me know.
"Thank you. I'll head to the theatre right away." I get up heading out of the office. I put my bag in my locker before I turn around to see Jin stand behind me.
"Hello, I don't believe we've met." I chuckle.
"No, I don't think we have." He smiles back at me.
"My name is Jin, and you are?"
"I am Aya
," I take his hand shaking it, "That was way too funny for me."
"I have to agree with you there."
"Apparently, we have to go to the theatre. Miss Miura said there was going to be a whole school assembly?"
"Do we? Well, I guess we should go then before it starts." Jin and I walk together, I see Hwoarang at his locker with Julia, his arm leaning against his locker. The both of them look up and simply smile. As soon as we get to the huge theatre, I take a seat at the end right next to Jin, everyone slowly settles themselves in as I look at my phone for any notifications; there were none.
"Ehem," it was Heihachi Mishima; the principal of the school, and the grandfather of Jin Kazama. "I have a few announcements I'd wish to make." A few whispers occur before silence consumes the room.
"I have decided that all years must do an extra class," Everyone groans, "This class will be an elective class; a class of your choice. An elective per say. This will be a one class a week where you do this class for two periods of the day. These classes include; Martial Arts, Cooking, Textiles and Art, Information Technology, Performing Arts, and P.E. Please choose wisely as you only get to do one per term. You may choose to do one the whole year. That is up to you. I also will announce that no one else is to smash mirrors in any bathrooms. If you get caught you will face serious consequences." I shrink into my chair; Heihachi directly staring at me.
"Michelle would like to speak a few words." Heihachi leaves the microphone, Michelle stands straight.
"Thank you, sir. Now as the school's nurse, I also want to encourage students to come see me if they're having any problems whether it be at school or at home, Mental Health is a serious issue, and I would like it if you had someone you could talk to; whether it be before school, after school or during break times. Please come see me. Thank you." Everyone clapped until Heihachi came back on.
"That is all. You are all dismissed." Everyone stands, and we head back to our classrooms. My class sits in the usual seating plan, and everything seems very normal.
"Alright, because this period has been cut short, we're going to finish off any work that may not have been finished. If you have completed everything and you are up to date, feel free to have a chat among yourselves." Lee allowed, Jin and I took our chairs over to Julia and Hwoarang's table.
"So Jules, are you excited for your eighteenth this Friday?"
"Yes! I really am! It's going to be so exciting! I'm not going to have everyone, just you three and maybe Steve and Christie."
"What about Shin?"
"Oh yeah, Shin too. I can't wait! Aya you and Christie will come over to get ready with me, right?"
"Yeah of course! I would love to!"
"This will be a good night, I can feel it." Jin puts in, I look up to see his dashing smile.
