"Coraaaa" I hear my brother say softly.
"WAKE UP" he yells
I open my eyes he is at the door smiling a mischievous smile.
"Good morning little sis," he says I look around my room still waking up when I realize. I had a dream last night and I remembered it!
I gasped.
"What is it?" My brother asked.
"Nothing," I say dismissively.
"Ok..." he responds walking out of the door. "Breakfast is almost ready, so hurry up or it will be all gone!"
The dream was strange. I was in the room with the white screens again but they weren't white this time. They had people on them, they looked like they were living their daily lives. It was like these screens were security footage screens. I spotted a screen that I was in. I wasn't alone. Jackson was with me. It was at that moment that I realized that I was seeing this from the perspective of the guy that was in front of the screens in my last dream, this is what made it really weird I could remember other dreams! I continued to look at the screen showing Jackson and I. His tall, slender, Strong frame was standing in front of my small, short one. We seemed to be at school in the forbidden hall that had electrical problems last year and was deemed a hazard to the school. The walls are full of graffiti. Jackson was saying something to me and I didn't seem to care. Then something he said caught my attention and I was looking him in the eyes. He snaked his arm around my waist and used the other arm to push me against the lockers on the hall and whispered something in my ear that seemed to surprise me even more. He then started to walk away. I grabbed his arm and pulled him towards me. I said something to him and he suddenly pinned me against the graffitied wall. His face was inches from mine he leaned in. So did I.
Then I woke up but it didn't take much to know what would have happened next, our lips would have touched and we would have fallen in love, ugh. I was never a believer in "true love" and I most likely never will, that stuff only happens in the romance books I read. I shake my head and get dressed leaving all thoughts of Jackson and the dream behind me. Good thing I wore long sleeves today because it was chilly.
When I get to school I turn the corner to go into the tenth-grade hallway to see someone I really didn't want to see on a Friday morning. Oliver Lightwin, the school bully/pervert he likes to pick on people. Especially, girls, he gets a little too touchy with the girls. He disgusts me. I keep walking avoiding eye contact. He walks towards me his dyed green hair bobbing as he took one large last step so he was directly in front of me.
"Hhheeeyyyy Cora" he greets me.
"Go away Oliver" I retort.
"Well it's good to see you too" he responds sarcastically.
He tries to put his arm around me but I slap it away but by doing that I had allowed him to sneak his other arm behind me pinning me against the wall trapping me in his embrace.
"Stop being so stubborn" he whispers in a crappy attempt to be seductive, It wasn't working. I struggle.
"Now-now stay still," he says firmly gripping my waist.
When Oliver touches me the only thing I feel is a fire of rage. I look into his green eyes that match his terribly died hair. He looks like a starving man that has just been presented with a platter of food. He's kind of scaring me. He slides his hands under the hem of my shirt. His palms are extremely sweaty, I gag.
"That's it, Stay still for me girl" he whispered, I cringed. I was too petrified to move when I hear a voice yell:
"HEY, GET YOUR DISGUSTING HANDS OFF OF HER"
I'm able to turn my head just enough to see Jackson standing at the end of the hall. With Evan not far behind. They both look extremely angry. Jackson ran at Oliver knocking him away from me. Oliver looked like he was going to say something but ran away.
"Are you alright?" Jackson asked, "did he hurt you?. "
"No," I said. I then realized that his hands had replaced Oliver's underneath my shirt. His hands were different though, they were soft and warm. I pushed Jackson away from me
"I'm fine," I said, Pulling my shirt down
"Is he gone?" Evan asked he had caught up and was looking at me concerned.
"Yea, the coward left as soon as we turned up" Jackson informed him
"I should report him, that bastard," Evan said
"No! It's fine." I say "It's no big deal he didn't get too far."
Jackson had the same confused look on his face as Evan did.
"What do you mean?" Jackson said, "he had no right to touch you like that!"
"Just leave it,"I say and walk off to class. Jackson grabbed my arm but then let go, I hadn't heard the last of him about this and it would come up later no matter whether it was Evan or Jackson that brought it up.
Sry 4 the short chapter, I hope you enjoyed
