All three of us walk into the woods together. Jackson handed us flashlights but the darkness swallowed anything that wasn't in the path of the beams of light. It was quiet and the only sounds were our footsteps with the occasional bark from a neighbor's dog. The silence was almost uncomfortable and the crunch of the fallen leaves under our feet was the only sound we heard as we kept walking for a while.

"So, Cora did you find me a match yet?" Evan said shattering the silence.

I thought of Lia, she defiantly liked him. Now's my chance! I thought.

"As a matter of fact I did" I tell him

"oooooo who!"He asks

"She's one of my friends" I hint.

"Sasha?" he guesses.

"No"

"Judith?"

"No"

"Lia?"

"Maybe..." I say.

"Shhhh!" Jackson says silencing us.

"What is it Ja-" Evan starts to say but Jackson holds his hand up silencing him again.

We stand their for a second I could barely hear it over my beating heart but there were defiantly footsteps crunching leaves getting louder as if they were coming towards  us. I switch off my flashlight and Jackson and my brother do the same. We hide behind a bush just as a figure comes into our line of vision. The figure looked horribly distorted and I couldn't see it very well in the darkness. It looked to have many limbs and two heads. It takes me a minute to adjust to the darkness that now surrounded me and realize that what I was looking at wasn't only one figure with many limbs but two people with the normal amount of limbs for a human being. The first figure was a man, he was tall and looked to be wearing all black, much like a body guard or a bouncer at a night club but he was tall and had almost the same build as Evan or Jackson and he looked about the same age or maybe a year older. He had long brown hair that seemed to shine in the night his hand was over the second figures mouth but wasn't too aggressive. The second figure was a girl, but not just any girl. It was the one we came here looking for. The flashing green and red tracker around her ankle was still there and she was squirming and trying to get out of the boy's grasp.

"Stay still." The boy said "Lilith, It's just me!"

The girl's eyes widened and she calmed down a little bit. The boy removed his hand from the girl, Lilith's mouth. She immediately spun around and as if she hadn't seen this boy in 100 years she threw her arms around him almost knocking him off of his feet. What the hell is happening here? I thought.

"Nate!" She yelled in delight.

"Lilith" He said wrapping his arms around her and holding her tight.

I couldn't resist "aaaaawww" I sighed.

Evan immediately slapped his hand  to my mouth but it was too late. The boy had heard us.

"Come out, whoever you are!" Nate said quickly pushing Lilith behind him.

"Great" Evan muttered. He stood up revealing himself to the couple. "C'mon guys they know we're here." He said to Jackson and I. We stood up too.

"Who the hell are you and why were you eavesdropping!" Nate demanded. I could see his caramel colored eyes now. His jaw hardened.

We all froze as he pulled out a gun. Jackson moved in front of me shielding me. Evan stuck his hands in the air.

"WAIT!" Lilith said. " Nathan, I know them!" she clutched his arm.

"What?" He said looking at her.
