Chapter 26

JACKS POV


"Move in with me." the words came out of my mouth with out warning. But after I said them I meant them whole heartedly.
She turned around, a shocked look on her face.
"Please."
"Jack, we both know I can't do that. One or two nights here is okay but the whole 2 months? And that wouldn't solve our problem, I'd still go home." she repiled.

"I meant in Connecticut.."
"What? Connecticut? Jack, I can't do that. It's your moms house and I just can't intrude like that."
"It's not "intruding", Alice. I can't just not see you for months."
"What would you even tell your mom?" she asked warily.
Butter flies raised in my stomach hoping she'd say yes.
"That you and your mom aren't on good terms and she kicked you out."
"Jack, your mom is going to let you have your girlfriend of 4 weeks move in with you?" she asked.
The realization hit me. We'd only been dating 4 weeks, yet it'd felt like 4 years.
"Alice, it doesn't matter how long we've been together, all I know is that I love you too much to let you go."
"You know, Jack" she began. "you're really hard to say "no" to."
I felt a huge grin come across my face.
"Yes!" I said, tackling her onto the bed in a hug.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you." I said, leaving kisses all over her face in the process.
This would all work out...hopefully.







ALICES POV



"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" he littered my face with kisses.

"Jack, I highly doubt your mom will say yes." I reminded him.
And I wasn't totally sure I wanted her to. Yes, living with Jack would be amazing. But, it was his moms house. That would be awkward.

"We'll worry about that later."
He said hugging me.
"So to be clear, you aren't going to the airport tonight?" he asked.
"No, Jack. I am not going to the airport." I giggled. He was so worried.

"I Gotta get to the apartment." I stated.
"It's 2:00 in the after noon."
"Okay, we can get Panera and I'll drive you there?" Jack asked.
"Well, I can't say no to Panera."









"Thanks, Jack." We made it up to my apartment door.
"Anytime, babe." he said, kissing my forehead.
"I'll see you tomorrow."
"Bye."

I stepped into the door and locked it, going into Andrea's room. She was sitting on her bed watching "Breaking Bad" I plopped down beside her.
"Hey! Is everything okay? Your mom came by here this morning." Andrea asked.
"Oh yeah, everything's fine. Just the usual "break up with your boyfriend, or else you're going back to Indiana and quitting YouTube" lecture."
"Wait, what!?"
"Basically, My mom doesn't like Jack because he's in YouTube. Well, she thinks he has no other plans than to make videos."
"Ahhh, I see."

I decided to leave out the detail of Jack asking me to move in with him, and the part about being at the airport at 5:00.

"I'm taking a nap." I stated, getting up and heading to my room.
"We have to be at Awesomeness at 6:00 am tomorrow!" she yelled.
"Okay, thanks."
3:46.
Exactly 1 hour and 14 minutes until I absolutely destroyed my relationship with my mom.
Did I regret it? No.
Instead I put on some music and set my alarm for 6:00 a.m. Tomorrow.
