"Lucy! Wake up!" Natsu bursted out loudly, jumping on the bed. I rubbed my eyes as I sat up. "What time is it?" I yawned. "It's 8:24!" He announced and he grabbed both my wrists to pull me off the bed. "What time does your school usually start?" I questioned. "8:30" my eyes widened. "Do you always wake up this late?"
"Yes." Happy quietly answered, entering the doorway into Natsu's room while rubbing his right eye and yawning. His hair was messy. I stretched my arms out. "Wait! What am I gonna wear?" I exclaimed in panic. Natsu stood there, thinking. "He doesn't do that often." Happy whispered into my ear, which I let out a slight chuckle in response. "How about we register you to our school and then we can go to the mall." A little hesitant on the idea, I replied with, "how? I have no money." He then let out a wide grin. "I'll pay." A little worried, I declined his offer. "No you don't have to." He laughed, "I know but I want to." Wow do those two think alike? I chuckled and smiled politely. "Fine. I surrender. But you have to let me do something for you."
"Like what." I started to think. Ooh I know!
     "Let's go bowling."
"I thought you didn't have any money."
I sighed, "I have a little left over. After buying this charm and then supplying your stomachs with about 20 Ishgars worth of food- I have about 65 Ishgars left. That's enough to go bowling...which only cost 4 Ishgars." I sighed, taking a breath from my rambling. He grinned, giving me a thumbs up.
"Uh not to be rude but can you get out so I can change?" I pushed on Natsu's back out the door. Happy followed behind them. I grabbed the extra pair of clothes Happy gave me last night. I put on a blue buttoned up shirt along with my extra pair of leggings which I brought just incase my skirt ripped or something. I then grabbed my black leggings and dressed my legs with them.
"Okay I'm ready!" I yelled from the bathroom while I settled down the brush.
"Let's start walking." Natsu proclaimed, heading toward the front door. "Walking?" I questioned with uncertainty. Happy turned towards me, "yea, don't you remember that Natsu has motion sickness." A flashback from yesterday's feast flashed in my mind. I sighed at my horrible memory. "Okay, lets walk then." We started walking.
"Happy is one year lower than us." Natsu announced as Happy seemed unfazed. We finally arrived near the school and I saw a giant medieval building with the words "Fairy Tail" spreaded across a sign located on a black fence which surrounded the school. I stopped a couple meters away from the school and my mouth dropped. "This is Fairy Tail?!" My head slowly turned towards Natsu and Happy as my finger wiggled at the massive building. They were pokered-faced and just nodded like it was no big deal. I know I grew up in a mansion and all, but who know a school could be so huge?!
The fence has the school's mascot on some ends along with an orange flag located on the front of the building. There was a giant golden bell at the top and underneath was a line of torches.
We slowly approached the path which led to the inside of the school. Happy opened the door and Natsu and I entered before him. "The principles office is that way. I will come with you. Happy go to class." Natsu ordered as Happy split from the rest of us. I walked just a little behind Natsu's right side, letting him lead. We came upon an isolated door which was white with a blue swirl boarding it. The doorknob was a shiny silver and the door's peep hole was framed with a black outlining circle. Natsu opened the door and there laid two long desks along with two women behind them. To the left of us was a giant box with over 50 different slots. My guess was that, that was the teachers' mailboxes. One lady had pink hair which was rolled into a circular bun and had two large golden pins with a shape of the moon on the ends. Her skin was pale and she wore a green sweater over a white shirt and had a loose black bow dangling from it. She wore a burgundy wine colored skirt. On the back of her chair laid a bright red winter coat. The name tag on her desks read

•Ms. Porlyusica•

The other lady who sat at the other desk had long snow white hair and deep bright blue eyes. She wore a small fluffy wool sweater that brought out her crimson red eye shadow. She smiled at me, and in return I waved with a side smile. Her template on the desk read

•Mrs. Grandeeney•

"What do you guys want?" The pink haired woman asked. Natsu approached her desk, leaving me to stare around the room with no one to talk to. I noticed on the walls that there pictures of dragons and some of stars at night. There was this one picture in particular that caught my eye. This painting had a body of glistening blue ocean surrounding an island. The island had a giant tree in the middle which stood upon a stone layer with two waterfalls pouring out. There were lots of trees and bushes on the island. The tree's leaves were separated from the tree itself by another stone layer. What an odd looking forests. I slowly walked up to that painting that hung on the wall, a little distance away from Mrs. Grandeeney's desk. "That painting was given to me one Christmas. It is called 'Tenrou Island.' Some believe that that place actually exists. I am one of the believers. My dream is to one day search for it. However, my daughter comes before any of that. I have to watch after her." She stared at the painting, smiling. Her voice was soft and gentle. "You have a daughter?" I asked, trying to continue the conversation. She nodded, closing her eyes and repositioning her pupils to stare at me. "Yea, her name is Wendy. Wendy Marvell. She has wonderful blue hair and she is homeschooled. Her best friend is Carla. Carla is the same age as Wendy, but is more proper and mature." Mrs. Grandeeney laughed a little which made me smile at her enthusiasm. "Lucy. Let's go." Natsu said, looking at me. I nodded and took a quick glance at Mrs. Grandeeney who was staring at the painting on the wall. "It was nice talking to you." Her head averted towards me. Smiling, I continued, "we should talk later." With that, I waved bye and followed Natsu, passed the desks and into another door which was on the left side of the main office. Natsu knocked on the door. "Come in." Natsu opened the door for me, and before I entered, he whispered something. "I wont be coming in with you. Don't worry, I'll just be right here. Good luck." He pointed to a set of wooden chairs with multi "cool" colored cushions and smirked. I gulped at what he meant by "good luck" before entering through the door and closing it behind me. There was a desk and a chair turned around behind it. The room was poorly lit. "Hello. Sit." The voice suggested. I walked toward a black arm chair on the front side of the desk. I rested my arms on the arm rest and sat patiently. The chair spun around and there, sat a tiny old man. He had short white hairs and had on a wine red vest over a white collared shirt. He had on navy blue jean and brown shoes. He stood on his chair!
"Uh hi sir." I almost choked on my words. "I-I'm Lucy. And I was wondering if there was a way I can enroll in this school." There was a silence an the silence gave me slight anxiety.
"Hmmm....you want to enroll here?" He asked. Giving him a nod in reply, he jumped off the chair and onto the ground. He walked around the desk and stood next to my chair. He stared at me, making me slightly uncomfortable. "Okay!"
"Wait. What?!?!" I was a little amazed and confused on his response. "That's it?" He closed one eye, leaving the other one to stare at me immensely. He sighed. "Well yea. We won't have your locker and schedule ready until tomorrow, so you can observe the classrooms if you like. However, you don't have to. Have one last day off." He grinned, gesturing for me to exit the room. Before grabbing the door knob, I presented him with a grateful smile and I turned to open the door. "Natsu!" I exclaimed a little too loudly before closing the door. Natsu looked at me, standing up from his chair. His face has a blank expression. "Soooo?" He asked impatiently, awaiting a response. "Oh uh yea. I'm in!" I gave him a wink along with a thumbs up and a grin. He sighed in relief and smiled back. His smile turned into a slight chuckle. "What's so funny?" I teased as we started to leave the room. "Oh nothing." He glanced at me as we walked side by side. He then turned to look forward as we exited the main office.
"The mall?" He asked. I nodded, "yea." My voice was quaint.
