"Where are you going?" Happy slowly sat up from the top bunk as I was ready to head out the door. He rubbed his eyes. Natsu, however, was still sprawled out on the bed, faced down, with drool falling from his mouth.
"I have to do something for a possible job," I explained. Happy didn't seem interested anymore because he immediately fell back to sleep. He snored and everything!
I sighed, latching my hand onto my purse that hung on my right shoulder. I opened the front door, letting a lot of sunlight seep through. I exited the house, closing the door behind me. I stood on the front steps thinking.

I need a juicy enough scoop. What should I research?

I thought and thought...

No, that wouldn't work.

What about-

No...

THATS IT!

My eyes lit up

I'll just write a scoop on that!

I reentered the house, and turned on the light.

"Natsu! Happy! I need your help!" They groaned, rewrapping themselves in their blankets. I rolled my eyes. "I'll make breakfast!" They both immediately shot up with a greedy expression on their face and drool on the side of their mouth.

-
"So what is it you need help with?" Natsu asked. I held the skillet in my hand, while the smell of eggs filled my nose.

"Well when Happy gets out of the shower, I'll explain it to both of you."

I took the pan off the stove and turned around to where I put down the plates. I noticed Natsu with his shirt off and I screeched, quickly turning back to face the stove.

"What's the matter? You saw a bug or somethin'?" Natsu questioned.

My face wouldn't stop burning from embarrassment. Luckily he didn't see me. "Uh yeah! Something like that" I whispered that last part to myself. I put the skillet back on the stove but turned off the heat.

I turned around, once again hoping he was done changing.

But nope!!!! Of course, he was taking off his pants!

I turned back around and just stood there, motionless. I hit my self on the head.

I'm not turning around again.

"Uh Luce? What's wrong? Ur just standing there..." Natsu questioned. My back stiffened up, as I slowly turned my head towards him.

I sighed in great relief that he had his clothes on. "Oh uh I guess I just dazed off." I scratched the side of my cheek with my nail.

Half an hour passed and the bathroom door opened and revealed a half naked Happy. The bottom half was covered by only a towel. He walked out of the bathroom, while ruffling his blue hair with a small white towel.

Oh come on!!!

I turned around, and used my hand to block the side of my face.

Natsu walked into the kitchen area. He went towards the stove and just sniffed the air. "MMMMMM smells so good!"

I giggled.

~

"YUCK LUCY!! How could you make us eat this!!?? Its not even edible?" Happy complained, while poking the eggs on his plate with his fork.

"Well this is the first time I ever really cooked! I said I was gonna make food, I never said it would be any good, you ingrate." I snapped back.

Natsu scooched his chair back, making a scraping noise against the wooden floors. He stood up, and headed towards the door, grabbing his jacket from the nearby coat rack. "Lets just get something to eat." He looked back at us and smiled that famous smile, "my treat!"

-
"Geez we've been here for only 5 minutes and you already devoured your meals. Plus you ordered even more?!" I placed my hand under my chin and rolled my eyes.

"Aren't you gonna eat anything?" Happy asked, worried. I shook my head, "I'm not really hungry."

"Okay! Suit yourself." He continued to munch on his fish.

"Ew you're eating fish for breakfast?" I questioned his taste for food.

He nodded with a goofy grin, "sooooo goooood~"

I sighed and waited until they finished eating.

Natsu slouched down in the booth and rubbed his stomach. "NATSU! We're in public and people are staring!" I whispered loudly to him, but he must've not heard me 'cause he didn't move.

"So anyways. Yesterday I meet this guy at a coffee shop and turns out he knows Jason from Sorcerer Weekly, and it just so happens that Jason is looking for a reporter. So the guy at the coffee shop gave me Jason's number and I called him last night. He said that I have to come up with a really interesting scoop by next Friday and if he likes it, then I get the job. So I thought to myself of what I could report about. It wasn't until this morning when I thought about the one guy that we all despise the most."

"Natsu?" Happy snickered.

"HEY!!" Natsu yelled back, obviously offended.

I giggled at their silly behavior, but soon enough, became serious again.

"No. The poser principle; the one that tried to attack me when we meet."

Natsu stopped slouching and sat up, looking me dead in the eye. He was serious now. "Seriously?"

I nodded. "But I want to send him to prison. So in order to do that, I'm gonna need your help." So I whispered amongst them the plan, as they leaned in to hear it, and then they nodded in agreement.

"It's settled then, tomorrow at 7:30pm, we'll meet in front of Kardia Cathedral." They all nodded in agreement, as devilish smirks appeared on their faces.

"Uh hey Lucy. I left my wallet at home. Can you pay?"

I got angry and a tick mark appeared, "NO WAY!" I yelled.

-
I went home and those two stayed to do the dishes to pay off the bill. I was able to leave since I didn't even order any food. I sighed as I sunk into the warm bath water. "The whole house to my self for the next hour or so" I slid down, further, so that any body part above my top lip remained out of the water.

-
I stood up from the bath tub, draining the water and grabbing my towel from the toilet seat. I used an extra towel to dry off my hair. I walked towards Natsu's bedroom and turned the lights on. I got dressed.
Bored, I decided to walk around the house, since I never really got to see everything. I started in Natsu's bedroom. I walked towards that locket on the desk that laid by the picture. Opening it, I looked at little Natsu and everyone else.

How could he stay so strong even after all he's been through?
