"I'm guessing that even if Juvia was meant to be separated from the rest, she managed to find her way back to Gray. If we find one, we find the other. Right?" Gajeel asked. He never thought he'd be saying this. "And we were meant to be doing something important today..." He murmured.
"Yeah, I guess that would have to wait," Erza said. She looked around for a moment. She couldn't believe how coincidental she found it.
"Why is there water here? I remember the cave being bone dry when I got h--Oh, I get it." Gajeel said, pink in embarrassment. He couldn't believe how much of an idiot he was being. "Let's just go and pretend this never happened." He said.
"Deal, but you better give me cake." Erza said to him. "Don't you dare make fun of it, I'll make sure you won't eat anything in your life if you do." She threatened him. Gajeel nodded in fear as he began walking.
"I can use my magic, can't I?" Gajeel asked her.
"Since when weren't you allowed?" She asked, to say yes in simple. Gajeel had decided not to tell her what happened during their hiatus. Even the part where he was forced down to a measly dagger he used when he was 5.
"Nevermind, at least I can help now!" He grinned. Well, tried. He couldn't look happy with all those piercings.
"We have no plan, no weapons, no nothing." Lucy whined as the walked. It wasn't the first time she walked barefoot in what seemed to be rocks. Who was she kidding? It was.
"Don't over exaggerate, we have weapons, our bodies are our weapons!" Levy said.
"Why do you remind of something? Isn't is temple and not weapons?" Lucy asked. She seemed to have recovered pretty fast. "It is, isn't it?"
"It is, just needed to say something in the heat of the moment." Levy explained. "I don't blame you for whining. It looks like we've been going around in circles, would Wendy be here, by chance?" Levy asked.
"Yeah, why?" Lucy asked. She could remember some cry of resistance from a familiar voice. Not being able to see, she couldn't tell if it was Wendy. But, when their kidnappers had yelled at her, calling her 'Princess', it was pretty clear as to who it was.
"Now I know what the hell that was!" Levy sighed as she seemed like she hit a light bulb in her mind.
"What was?" Lucy asked. She seemed like she missed something very obvious. She waited for Levy to explain. In reality, she didn't. All she did was gesture the area around her. She thought for a moment, anything related to Wendy would help find her. "I understand now! Now it makes sense why it was suddenly so cold!" Lucy giggled.
"Yeah, she must have used her magic to change the flow of the wind. Just go in the opposite direction of what you feel!"
"Gray~"
Gajeel laughed. He couldn't help but laugh.
"That was an amazing imitation of Juvia, Erza!" He snorted. He turned around to look at Erza. To be honest, she looked the opposite of what he had expected. She was holding onto her sword in a scared stance. "Scared of caves?"
"No, that voice! It wasn't me, it might as well be Juvia! Or someone who knows Juvia well enough to do that." Erza shivered. Gajeel guessed it was the latter she was scared of. He guessed she was scared of people that made her fight her friends or look alikes of her friends.
He wondered if it would be the same for him.
He decided to keep his thoughts to himself.
"Well, we should follow the voice." A moment of silence. "How do you follow a voice?"
"I think we just go until it gets louder and louder 'til we find the subject." Erza said. Gajeel nodded as he tried.
"I can't do it."
"I can, though. Follow me," Erza laughed as she shakily took the front.
"You're so scared you're shaking!" Gajeel laughed. He knew he was going to be dead, but, he should say something like that in his life time.
"I will murder you to hell and back."
"I can hear yelling." Lucy said. "And Wendy."
"I love how you had to wait a second to add Wendy, well, we can try and guess who it is." Levy said. It was easy.
"Natsu," They both said and laughed.
"Who the hell said my name!" Lucy could see fire approaching them. She couldn't help but smile a little as she saw Natsu. Well, an angry version of him.
"Oh, it's just you two! Wendy, it worked!" Natsu yelled to his left. Levy watched as the bluenette casually walked next to her brother.
"Why are you acting like it's so natural?" Levy laughed. Natsu shrugged and Wendy gave out a little blush. "I won't ask then."
