"How was it?" Hannah asks.

I shrug. "It was fine,"

She slaps me on the arm and raises an eyebrow.

"It was not just fine,"

"Okay, okay," I say laughing, throwing my hands up in mock surrender. "It was so much fun. His parents are so nice and we had home-made pizza and watched a movie. I had so much fun,"

"Ha! I knew there was more to it," Hannah replies with a grin.

The bell echoes through the halls and I groan. I have biology first up. At least I have Jakob and Ethan in my class.

I wave good-bye to Hannah and take off down the hall to my classroom which is ever so conveniently on the other side of the school. Note the sarcasm.

When I reach the room, I file in behind a bunch of girls and slide into my seat between Jakob and Ethan.

They both lean forward and rest their chins on their hands.

"So..." Ethan starts.

"How was it?" Jakob finishes.

I roll my eyes at them. "Hannah asked the exact same thing,"

Ethan twirls his fringe around his finger and Jakob batts his eyes at me.

"We, like, totally wanna know how it went girlfriend," Ethan says in a high pitched girly voice.

"Yeah, for sure. You guys totally kissed didn't you," Jakob adds.

I smack Jakob and punch Ethan in the arm.

"No we did not kiss. We ate dinner and watched a movie and talked a little," I say with a shrug but I couldn't help the little grin I had.

"Well you have to kiss soon because Jake and I are betting a lot of money on when you guys kiss,"

I raise an eyebrow. "Oh really? I guess you guys are going to be the last people I tell. Plus, we're not even dating. It was just a friendly 'get to know your new neighbour' sort of thing,"

"No!" Ethan whines.

"We are going to be the first people you tell," Jakob practically commands me. I laugh and nod, knowing that they probably will be.

As class drags on, I start to zone out. My mind drifts to somewhere away from biology. I'm brought back to reality when a knocks sounds on the door.

I focus my attention on the door, as do my classmates. We wait for the door to open up, revealing a man, holding a bunch of white roses.

The teacher frowns and walks towards the door.

"Hi, I have a delivery for..." He trails off, looking down at a piece of paper in his hand. "Allison Grey,"

Everyone's eyes turn to me and I shrink down in my chair. The teacher's eyes narrow in on me and he nods at the man to bring them to me.

The man places the bouquet in front of me along with a small card. I nod at him and whisper a thank you before placing the roses on the ground, behind my chair.

The class starts again and Ethan and Jakob start nudging me.

"Are you going to open the card?" Jakob whispers, staring at the small white envelope.

I nod. "Maybe later," I reply with a shrug.

"No, do it now. Please," Ethan urges, watching the teacher so we don't get caught.

I turn the card in my hand and look at it. It's about the size of my hand and it has gold patterns encircling the edges of it.

Written in the middle of the envelope is pretty writing is my name. Allison Grey.

No body calls me Allison. All my friends call me Allie. I went by Allison at my old school but since then I have gone by Allie.

The curiosity soon gets the best of me and I have to open it. I pick at the envelope, cautious not to tear the beautiful paper.

From the corners of my eyes, I can see Ethan and Jakob staring contently at it. I glance up to look at the teacher, who is blabbing on about something to do with himself. Of course.

I focus back on opening the envelope. When I open it, I slide a pink card out and twirl it in my hands. It has a big pink love heart on the front, circled it gold lace.

I see Ethan mouth to Jakob 'Chris' and roll my eyes. Although part of me can't help but hope it is from him. A small smile plays on my lips as I open the card.

Written in cursive are the words "Meet me at the bleachers after school".

I look to Ethan because he knows that's where Chris and I sat the other morning when I 'confessed' my love for Ethan.

Ethan grins and gives me a little shove. Jakob just looks confused as heck but clearly knows that we're implying something about Chris.

I open my mouth to say something to Jakob but the bell cuts me off. I gather my things and hold the flowers in my arms and take them to my locker.

Chris is leaning on my locker when I get there. He smiles when he sees me but it falls off his face when his eyes land on the roses.

"Who are they from?" he asks, jealousy present in his voice.

"Um, I don't know," I say.

If they're not from Chris... then who am I meeting after school.

"Someone asked me to meet them after school at the bleachers." I say with a shrug.

He just nods, his jaw set. He waves a quick good bye and murmurs something about seeing me at the table.

I frown and place the roses in my locker. I can't help but look around, for someone, anyone who could've given them to me.

I walk to the table, my eyes darting around the cafeteria, analysing everyone.

"Hey," Jess greets me when I sit down.

I smile at her and unwrap my muffin. I take a bite as Chris, Hannah and Emma all join us. Jakob and Ethan are still in the line and Aiden is god knows where.

"So... I heard you got a note and flowers today in class," Jess asks.

I smile and nod, but Chris just scoffs and rolls his eyes. Geez, what's his problem?

"They want me to meet them at the bleachers after school," I say with a shrug.

"You shouldn't go," Chris pipes up.

I raise an eyebrow and cross my arms. "Oh really? Why is that?"

"Any one could've sent those to you and no one is going to be down on the football fields after school so if it's someone who wants to hurt you or whatever then no one will know,"

"If you're so worried, come with me then. Stay up at the building where you can see." I suggest with a shrug.

"Maybe I will," he responds.

I roll my eyes but secretly I'm grinning on the inside because he sounds so jealous. I just continue eating my muffin, smiling with content while stealing glances at Chris.
