Chris and I walk back into the room and sit down. Jess nudges me and smirks. I shake my head but I can't wipe the smile off my face.
Chris and I came back in about half way through Paranormal Activity. Apparently Jakob made the girls start the movie again.
I'm sat in between Jess and Emma. Emma looks a bit scared to be honest. I give her a little nudge with my elbow. She looks up at me, clutching onto the white bear she has in her arms.
"Hey you alright?" She shrugs and looks down at the bear.
I feel bad for her. I shuffle over a little bit and snuggle close to her. She smiles gratefully and hooks her arm with mine.
I've never seen Paranormal Activity but it sure isn't as scary as I thought. Emma would disagree with me but it was pretty tame. There weren't many jump scares and there was hardly any killing.
Jess gets up and puts Captain America in the slot and clicks play. She sits back down next to me. We sit there criticising some of the things that happen but then reason with them.
It is a movie after all. We can't expect everything to be realistic. Marvel movies are the best. They always have such good story lines and I love how all the superheroes are connected. By the time Captain America finishes, it's about 10:30pm.
We decide that we probably can fit in one more movie. Emma gets up to put her movie in. When the movie starts playing, the boys all groan from one side of the room, whereas us girls all gush over Ryan Reynolds.
The Proposal is such a good movie. When it finishes we're all pretty tired. Ethan is lying on his back in a really funny position.
"How is that comfortable?" I whisper, laughing under my breath.
"I have no idea," Aiden says, grabbing a pillow.
He lifts it above his head and brings it down on Ethan's face. Ethan jolts up.
"Huh? What? I'm up!"
We all burst out laughing as Ethan rubs his eyes.
We all set up our sleeping arrangements and tuck into bed. Eight people in one room at one sleepover. I never thought I'd see that happen.
I dig through my bag to find my pyjamas. When I find them, I excuse myself to the bathroom to get changed. I just brought bike pants and a singlet. I didn't expect there to be boys here.
When I get back to the room, I shove my clothes into my bag and walk over to my bed.
I'm at the wall on the far side of the room. Chris is next to me. I think about how I could probably touch him if I tried.
I shake those thoughts out of my head. Hannah switches the light off and jumps into her bed.
"Night everyone," she whisper-yells.
We all say our good nights. I pull the covers right up to my chin and bring my knees up to my chest, curling into a comfortable sleeping position. I shut my eyes until I begin to drift off into darkness.

I wake up to a massive bang on the wall right next to my face.
I open my eyes and sit up, staring at the wall. I wait for a while but am faced with silence. As I go to lie back down there is another loud crash on the wall right in front of me.
I scramble backwards. I pretty much jump on top of Chris as I do so. He jolts upright the minute I touch him.
"What are you doing? What time is it?" he grumbles, his voice husky and raspy from sleep.
