I first started drawing when kenmemes_ introduced me to anime.
I had always liked drawing, but no art style interested me.
I wanted an art style that was realistic, but not too much, made anything possible, and over exaggerated the eyes.
I wanted it to be graceful, but funny, beautiful, yet cute.
And, boom, anime.
So I drew a simple copy of Lucy from fairy tail with a little bit of changes.
Now, no offense, but I never understood people that copied.
You can draw, and that's already been made, so draw something new!
Anyways, 2 and a half years later I'm still doing it.
And I've changed a lot, but I'm happy with it.
So why do I draw?
I've got an art style, it's all good, so why?
Well, it's hollylikesbooks
Holly, is unlike other girls.
She has wide shoulders, great for athletics, but it's not seen as feminine or even shown at all.
People just talk about skinny girls and thick girls.
What about neither?
We get it, your happy with your body, okay.
But there's others.
I guess I'm a hypocrite now.
But, that's what strives me to do art.
To show that just because people don't represent you, that you are who you are.
And I'm trying to someday get the perfect drawing.
With her looking like herself, both inside and out.
