Laney's The Bandleader- Part 5

Grojband have already set up everything in the park. And were ready to perform their unstolen lyrics. They saw everyone in Peaceville in the crowd. Even Trina, but she was just there because of Nick Mallory. Just as they were about to strum their first note they heard, "WAITTTT!!!"

The owner of the voice was none other than Corey Riffin, he was still in his pajamas, with his guitar case strapped around him as he held a box of tissues. Laney shouted, "Core! What are you doing?! You're sick!" Corey replied, "I wasn't going to miss playing with my band. Especially since I made my own lyrics."

The crowd seemed confused as Grojband gasped, "WHAT THE WHAT?!" Kin slowly said, "Corey Riffin.... made.... lyrics... all by himself...?" Kon shouted, "IT'S A MIRACLE" Laney nodded in agreement, 'well... you can't sing them with a stuffy nose." Corey smirked as he said, "Oh Kin~"

Kin had a smug look on his face as he took a out a laser out of his pocket. He shot it at Corey then and lights surrounded him. When they disappeared there stood a healthy normal looking Corey.

"Hey! I'm not sick anymore!"

Laney tried t comprehend this. If Kin had that... he could've made Corey better before. THEN SHE WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO BE BANDLEADER. Well something good did come out of this. They finally made genuine lyrics. Kon asked, "So who's song are we singing first?" Kin said, "I have an idea. Why don't we mash them up?" Corey smiled at that, "Good idea! Ready Lanes?"

"Always am Core."

They started playing as Corney sang.

Laney

When were both young

Even though I haven't been quite honest yet

I know it's too much to ask

Corey-

Laney-

Corey-

Everyone started clapping loudly and cheering for them. Corey and Laney slightly blushed unbeknownst to them as all four of them bowed and went of stage. Corey shouted, "THAT WAS AMAZING! I loved your lyrics Lanes!" Laney's cheeks tainted pink as she stuttered, "T-thanks.. I loved your too."

Meanwhile Kin and Kon had the Lenny smirk on their face as kin said, "I wonder who those lyrics were for Kon? Have any ideas?"

"why isn't it obvious?"

Laney glared at them but then looked at Corey curiously. Of course her lyrics were about him. But what was his about? It oddly seemed as though it was about he-

"Oh I don't know. The lyrics just... came to me. They weren't about anyone in particular."

Corey of course being oblivious was even more confused when Kin and Kon face palms and Laney just sighed in sadness.

Meh. He'd ask them about it later.
