Grojband Character Shorts

GrojDANCE AU

(I have never made a dance AU before, I don't really like reading them either, so this might be bad. But hope ya enjoy ChatMallowFIC the characters may be a little out of character heh)

(I'll quickly tell you what the personalities are, Corey is cooler and likes llamas, Laney is more chill but all uses fancy words like Rarity from MLP, Kin is more sadistic and Kon more energetic somehow)

Corey lied still on the cough, earphones plugged in, eyes closed, overall he looked relaxed. His friends surrounded him, the one wearing T-shirt and jeans looked worried, the one in a bun looked neutral, the one wearing a tie was smiling evilly as their eyes glinted with an evil spark

"Is he dead?"

"He's probably just resting, poor thing's probably tired after our practice yesterday."

"With Corey dead, I can finally see the insides of a human being for real..."

The other two were used to his creepy comments and shrugged it off.

The worried one, Kon, put their mouth right next to their leader's ear and whispered, "Corey.." then shouted, "WAKE UP!!!!"

The blue-haired boy fell to the ground and looked up to see his three best friends, he glared at them, "I was sleeping."

The one in the bun, Laney replied, "we know."

"Then why did you wake me up?"

The sadistic one, Kin said, "to annoy you."

Corey rolled his eyes as he took out his earphones from his ears and places them in his pockets, he looked to his friends with a huge smile, "Today's the big day, the day where Grojdance (I'm sorry) will finally ein Peaceville's annual dance competition!"

He waited for a loud cheer, clap anything, but instead received a long silence, "What? Aren't you excited?"

They all just shrugged, Kon said, "We don't really care, all I'm excited about is the prize!"

He then goes into his own world, dreaming about winning the dance competition and getting handed some cheese which he gulped down in one bite.

He then snapped back to reality when he realised his friends were staring at him. Corey continued, "if we win, we'll finallybe known as the best dance group in all of Peaceville! I can't wait! Anyway, when is the competition anyway?"

"Right now."

"Let's go."

They all then walked to the center of Peaceville while held a huge stage, and a table full of cheese was set on the side, obviously being saved for the winning group.

They saw a few people in the audience, some contained familiar faces, they then saw the competition was already about to begin as Mayor Mellow was at the front, about introduce the first event.

"Hello people of Peaceville! Today we're here to introduce Peaceville's first dance competition, motherand I are both excited to see the performances," he exclaimed while holding onto a picture if his deceased mother.

"Our first round is.... free style! Each grouo has to make up a dance on the spot."

Grojdance stood backstage as they watched the other groups perform, they soon heard a voice, "Hello, Grojtrash! Hahaha!"

Corey turned around glared at his female counter-part, Carrie, behind her were Larry, Kim and Konnie.

"There's no way you're gonna beat us, Corey"

"Don't be too sure about that, we've been practicing"

"Sure," she said mockingly.

Mayor Mellow's voice rung out, "Next up is the Newmans and The Next Step (reference anyone?). The Newmans walks out with their heads held up high, with confidence.

(I'm like not ever ginna bother trying to describe the dancing)

After a few more rounds, the last two groups left were Grojdance and The Newmans.

"Here we have a last two groups folks! Whoever wins this last round will be the winners! And this time it's.... individual dances! Each group member has to verse one another, the group with the most wins, wins the whole thing," announced Mayor Mellow, excitedly.

The Newmans and Grojband stared at eachnother with determination  (fuhuhu).

First up was Laney VS Laney.

They both started off strong but in the end, Larry kost his nerve and lost.

Next was Kim VS Kin

Kim won, mostly because Kin nearly lit the whole place on fire with ine of his fire sticks.

Next was Kon and Konnie.

Konnie won, Kon ripped his pants while doing the splits.

Finally it was Corey and Carrie's turn. The pressure was building up, they both couldn't afford to lose.

They both started to dance theur best, going full out, everyone started cheering for them, supporting the two kids.

Then in the end, Corey came out with one soecial move which stunned Carrie, while lead to her loss.

Grojdance won!

Everyone started to cheer in happiness while the Newmans stormed out in humiliation. Mayor Mellow came out with the cheese, "wow, you kids were great! Here's your cheese." Just as he was about to hand it tk Corey, Kon snatched it off him and ate it all down.

The others glared at him while he cheekily smiled.

I guess his dream came true.

(Well. This sucked ;-;)
