One day while Larry was waling down the noisy streets of Peaceville he found a gold coin on the ground. On one side it has a star and on the other side it had a diamond. He thought it looked cool and decided to keep. Later on he met up with his band while keeping the coin in his pocket. He saw Konnie and Kim playing a weird game then he noticed the beautiful Carrie. She walked down the stage and said, "the twins want to go the park for some ice-cream, wanna join." Larry slightly smiled and nodded, when they all travelled to the park they saw their arch rival- Grojband.
They overheard that Grojband was going to compete in the Battle of the Bands, so Carrie decided to bud in the rest of the Newmans did their cool poses like they usually do. Larry decided it would make him look cooler if he flipped his coin so he started doing it. After Corey and Carrie did some arguing they decided that Corey and Carrie were going to do a head to head battle playing their guitars. The loser isn't allowed to compete in the Battle of the Bands, so this could make or break them. (This is a reference of the Grojband Game)
As the two started battling Larry got nervous, Grojband always won against the Newmans, so their chances of ever competing in the Battle of the Bands seemed pretty thin. He noticed that Corey was really rocking it out while Carrie..... was losing pretty badly. To calm down his nerves Larry started to flip the coin he found, it actually did kind of help but he still was nervous out of his mind but when he started to flip the coin something weird happened. Carrie was starting to get better out of nowhere, he was catching up to Corey and soon he was losing ground while Carrie was sounding awesome.
Pretty soon Corey lost while Carrie won. After a few more argument between Corey and Carrie, Grojband shamefully walked off leaving the Newmans to celebrate. Carrie exclaimed, "I can't believe it! This is the first time that the Newmans actually won! I didn't even know I could play like that." Larry commented, "You were great Care, I knew you could do it." Even thought he actually expected Corey to win he thought it was a moment to celebrate. Before he could suggest anything the twins shouted, "LETS GO TO BELCHIE'S." Of course they would beat him to it.
As they were walking to Belchie's something seemed pretty off. Kim was working on an invention while walking without it exploding, Konnie wasn't asking Kim about her invention constantly, Larry wasn't being treated as a girl by every stranger and Carrie's beanie did fly away by the wind. When they got to Belchie's, there's wasn't a long line as usually and they easily found spots. Today all the food was free ironically and they accidentally gave them extra. Also Konnie did drop food all over herself as usual, Kim didn't get covered in food by Konnie, Larry was still get treated by a boy which was unusual while Carrie was perfectly fine as usual.
As they were walking back Kim asked, "Did anyone notice the change in our luck today, the usually unlucky things that usually happen to us as the narrator explained didn't happen today." Carrie agreed, "yeah I noticed it too." Konnie, "It must ne magic!" Larry rolled his eyes while saying, "It's just karma, nothing to be worried about." He took out his gold coin and started to flip it, Kim noticed and asked "when did you get that coin?" Larry replied, "today." Kim gestured for him to give it to him, he have to her while she and the others examined it. Konnie said, "It looks so cool." Carrie asked, "where did you find it?" Larry answered,"on the ground." Kim suggested,"maybe this is the cause of our luck."
They all looked at Kim like she was crazy. Larry said ,"that's crazy even for you." Kim said,"no it's true,ever since got that coin we've been having good luck." Carrie and Konnie both nodded their heads in agreement. Larry rolled his eyes while saying,"we'll see." (Now for a montage if good luck) The Newmans were back at the garage holding ice-cream and gold. Larry 'woahed' then said, "we just got gold from pirates, free ice-cream and won a random game show we didn't even enter." Carrie and Konnie both said at the same time," the coin!" Kim was about to say 'I told you' but larry said,"don't even say it."
Carrie said,"so if we keep the coin we'll become the best band in the world." Kim continued, "I might become the best scientist." Konnie said,"I might get to eat all the cheese in the world." Larry was getting frustrated and said,"stop it! This coin won't help us achieve our goals we have to earn them. There's no- WE DON'T CARE!" All the girls shouted while Larry sighed and said, "I give up."
