Chapter 6  – Encounters with Unwanted people

“RISE AND SHINE SUNSHINE” A voice yelled into my ear. I already knew it was payback for going to a party that he didn't want me at. I grabbed my head and yelped in pain.

“You are so lucky you only have study today and that you don't have to have any teachers yelling at you” He said and I groaned.

“I don’t want to go” I whined.

“Im sorry April but you chose to go to the party and well it’s your fault” He said and I glared. He pointed towards my bedside table. There was a pack of Panadol and a glass of water. Swallowing two of the tablets I sat up properly.

“Because im a great brother, I’ll drive you and James to school, because im guessing the amount of drinks that guy has, he is a lot worse” He said and I nodded. I sent a text to James and put my phone on charge. It was half charged and well I didn't want to have it dying on me. I hugged him and then he walked out. I knew that Koby had changed me last night and I was grateful for the fact that I didn't wake up in an uncomfortable dress and heels. I kicked Koby out and walked into my room. I looked in the mirror and saw that I looked like a freaking panda. My makeup was everywhere and just Yuk. I grabbed a makeup wipe and wiped all of the makeup off of my face before turning the shower on and getting in. I quickly washed my body and massaged the temples of my head. I was in pain but I needed to study for success right?

After having a shower, I turned all the taps off and then got into my uniform with my converse. I placed my hair up into a pony tail and then started walking very slowly down the stairs.

“Koby I have a headache” I whined.

“That’s your fault, wear your glasses” He said and I shook my head violently. You see I did have glasses, but I never wore them because I hated them. But I wouldn’t want to be putting contacts in because that sounds like it hurts. The glasses are for my long distance reading and my headaches that I get all the time and well I just don't like to wear them.

“April, you need to wear them, they are glasses, so many people have them” He said and I shook my head.

“I don’t like them Koby” I said and he shrugged.

“I don’t care if you don’t like them, go get them and put them on unless you want me to start yelling” He said sternly but you could see the slight smirk forming on his lips. I groaned and walked back to get the glasses. Besides, what he doesn’t know can’t kill him. I mean I just wont wear them when I get inside the gates. I got them and put them on. They were black glasses and they weren’t horrible, they were just horrible on me.

“See now you look smart” Koby said to me and I rolled my eyes. I grabbed my school bag and packed some food in along with my text books.

“Let’s go if you want to get to school on time” He said and I nodded. We went out to the car and I sat in the front seat. I rested my head against the window and tried to remember what happened last night. I couldn’t remember anything, the only thing I remember was talking to James and saying how we were going to meet at 11:30. I felt the car stop and I looked up to see James’ house. Koby made the horn go off and I groaned as he smirked at me.
