After about ten minutes, Nick finally approached Judy's door. He picked the lock with his claws, which was easier said than done.

Once he entered he locked the door back and padded to Judy's room. He opened her door to see the bunny fast asleep. So he slyly slid himself under her covers and in her bed.

Upon entering, he wrapped his arms around her tiny body and placed his head on hers. The bunny groaned sleepily and rolled to face his chest.

Nick blushed, even though it wasn't he and Judy's first time sleeping in the same bed, he still couldn't help but blush.

He missed her. And by saying miss her, he means as in miss them. He misses them being a couple.

But...relationships revolve around trust. And he felt like he couldn't trust her, like she needed to earn his trust.

The sound of Judy's house alarm startled the fox. His ears stood erect as he listened for any other sounds besides the blaring alarm. He gently moved to unwrap himself from the bunny BBC when she muttered something.

"Don't go, baby.."

Baby?...Nick thought as he froze.

"I think someone might've broke in, Judes."

"Buh....don't leave me by myself.." she whimpered and Nick groaned.

He stood up and grabbed Judy's gun out of her holster before lifting the bunny to her feet. He saw that she had on an oversized shirt with a pair of underwear on. And what made the fox blush is that the shirt barely reached the middle of her bottom, and that she was very drowsy, probably sober..who knows.

"Take me home~" she said to him.

Nick laughed as he lifted her to his back. "You are home." He corrected her.

"You..are my home, foxy."

Nick walked out of her room with the bunny on his back, making his way to the middle room, where the alarm was breached.

"Oww..turn the alarm off..." Judy pouted, folding her ears down.

Nick quickly found the alarm box and turned it off. He then went to turn on the lights but they didn't work.
   Looking around, Nick somewhat felt happy to be a predator because he had night vision. But of course his eyes would have to adjust to the dark before he could see clearly.

Something caught his eye..

A window. He should've known that Judy never leaves her windows unlocked at night. But this one was broken.

He went to touch the glass when his foot had landed in something. It was too cold to be blood, but too thick to be water.

He keeled down mindlessly and touched it, bringing his finger to his snout to smell the substance.

Paint...He thought. Who would..He cut himself off when he heard another noise, not from Judy. But from either outside or inside.

"Baby...I hear something." Judy whispered, hugging on tightly to Nick.

"What do you hear?" He asked her, standing up and bringing her in front of him.

"Wh-whispering. I heard one word."

"What was it?" He asked almost silently.

"My name.." she answered bluntly.

His heart rate sped up a for once, he actually began to get scared. "Are you sure?" He asked again.

"Bunny's have the best of the best hearing!" She cheered and he shushed her.

He glanced through the window, out into the moonlit night. The sound occurred again, making Nick jump a little.

He couldn't tell if it came from outside, or inside..

Only one way to decide..

He cocked back Judy's gun, rolling up the sleeves to his shirt and placing the bunny on his back again.

Either outside...or inside..

Outside...Inside...

You heard him! Outside, or inside???

(This chapter idea was random, but I wanted to try writing something scary cuz I never really found myself being scary or whatever.
