Chapter 11

Carlie's POV

Alexa was about to open her mouth to speak when the doorbell rang. Thank god, I didn't want to continue this conversation any longer. I was just praying that whoever Alexa was talking to would cheer me up and help me get over the fact of Austin moving on.

Honestly in the other side of the door I expected Harry or Alexa's brother forgetting his house keys or something, but it wasn't....not even close. a couple if minutes later Alexa walked in followed by...Caitlyn? What the hell was she doing here? She really had no reason to be, and it's not like I was bothering Austin, I was barely even talking to him anymore.

I got up from the position I was in and took a step away from the two of them and Alexa just stood still while Caitlyn took another step forward. "Look" she said. "I want to talk to you about something...about Austin actually." Ughhh! Even the sound if his name made my heart ache. I could feel the tears threatening to spill any second. "what's there to say..he doesn't remember me and he doesn't care!! There's no point in talking about him....unless you just wanna see me break!" I was practically yelling now. I looked down at the floor.

Alexa took hold of Caitlyn's arm. "Caitlyn, u think you should just I now" she said in a hushed tone, but Caitlyn didn't budge until a couple minutes of staring me down.she had that 'are you really gonna make me leave?' look in her eye. I nodded at her!

I could hear her loudly sigh and she began walking towards the door and stopped before opening it. Caitlyn looked over her shoulder and said in a clear voice, "Austin broke up with me a couple of minutes ago...He said that he wanted to take time and try to remember more. I knew he was talking about remembering you... I saw the look in his eyes at school today after he came back from your table.... I-I just thought that you should know.." Then like that, she walked out if the door and was out if sight.

What was she talking about.....i mean, was she telling the truth?
