chapter 2

E L S A

after we got back to the castle, i was yelled at by my mommy and daddy about how much of a mess i was. i was then lead to the bathroom, where mary bathed me.

it was a good thing too, because i was cold. playing with jack was fun though. i liked him. he isnt like most village boys. he isnt rude and stuck up. he was sweet and nice. i smiled at the thought of him. "princess, what has you so happy?" mary my maid asked while washing my cheek. "well i met a boy today. i want to be friends with him... is that allowed." mary knew of my powers, which is why she was allowed to bath me. the maid sighed deeply. "i honestly dont know princess. but be careful with your emotions around him." i nodded and smiled at the maid. the maid smiled back and finished washing my back.

she grabbed a towel and had me stand up. she wrapped me in the warm cloth and carried me back to anna, and my room. she clothed me in a elegant little dress, instead of my pajamas. "what is this for mary?" i asked her. she smiled at me. "your parents are holding a celebration tonight for anna's 6th birthday. and they asked all the villagers to come. so maybe you will see your friend." mary winked at me. my face was froze in a smile as i ran down the hall after mary did my hair, and put little earings in my ears, and finished with my baby blue dress that had a cape clipped to the sholders. it was thin and blue with little colorful flowers.

my dress was adorable. it was tight at the chest to my waist, then flowed out like a cupcake. i saw my mommy at the end of the hallway and picked up my skirts running faster. "mommy! mommy! look at me!" i yelled. she turned and kneeled down with her arms wide open.

i ran into her arms and she picked me up. "well arent you my big princess." she tapped my nose and i giggled "are you excited to celebrate your sisters birthday?" i nodded and my mommy set me on the floor. my daddy came in with Anna, he looked so fancy! he kissed my forhead, and my mommy took my hand as the velvet curtain opened.

there were so many villagers that clapped at us. i scanned the crowd and couldnt find jack. i frowned. i wanted my new friend to be here. my mommy and daddy started talking to the villagers. but my mind drifted off to all the bad things that couldve happened to jack.

"hold still jack!" my mother yelled while combing my hair and buttoning my vest. "mom, why do i have to go?" my mom sighed, "it is princess, Anna's birthday. we are going to celbrate under the kings and queens invitation. so deal with it. besides they have a daughter around your age." my mom smiled at me. i was planning on finishing elsa's name and give it to her tomorrow. i frowned at my mom and swatted her hands away. "im fine. can we go now?" my mom looked at me wide eyed. but then nodded. "yes fine." my mom took my dads hand and we left to go to the castle.

walking there i noticed no one was working. everyone must be there. i looked ahead and saw the castle all lit up. its a shame that its accupied by a snotty rich family. the gaurds opened the doors and everyone was dancing in a big circle. the king and queen are probably in the middle. i squeezed past all the couples and saw elsa in the middle of the large circle dancing with a little girl with strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. i thought elsa looked pretty in her dress...

"Anna, slow down." elsa giggled. i smiled because she was smiling. there was a good vibe from her. i liked that. then my dad grabbed me and took me to a table. but my eyes never left the laughing and giggling elsa.

when i sat down the music stopped. "guests are now allowed to see the king and queen." a really tall castle gaurd stated as the king and queen made their way up the stairs, fallowed by a line of guests. my parents stood up and i fallowed them.

we were next in line, and i had to watch as the neighborhood boys kissed elsas hand and flirted with her. it annoyed me a bit, and i dont know why. when the guests ahead of us left to go dance, my parents bowed. i did as well, and elsa looked at me, her smile growing. "Jack!" she yelled running up to me and hugging me. i hugged her back before her mother pulled her away. "act like a lady." she scolded. elsa frowned.

my parents talked to the king and queen for awhile, and eventually left. the gaurd anounced we will be dancing and we should find a partner. my eyes started scanning for elsa. "BOO!" i jumped and turned around. elsa was smiling at me. "i scared you." she laughed. "Did not!" i crossed my arms. elsa giggled as a slow song played. i looked at elsa who was looking at the band. "uhem... would you like to dance?" i asked elsa as her attention turned to me. her cheeks grew red as she nodded.

i extended a hand and she gladly took it. i led her to the dance floor, and put my hand on her hip and held her hand with the other. she placed her hand on my shoulder, and we started moving in sync. she stepped on my feet a few times. but i didnt mind.

as we started moving without stepping on eachother she rested her head on my chest. "are we best friends jack?" she asked. "yea. id say we are." i smiled and rested my chin on the top of her head. she moved her hands from my shoulder and my hand and wrapped them around my chest. "will we be best friends forever jack?" i wrapped my arms around her shoulders and nodded. "forever and always." she smiled and kissed my cheek again, before the party stopped and i had to go.

she squeezed her arms around my chest and watched me go. waving and smiling until the doors closed.
