7. Zakir's POV

"So is everything is going as per plan" she asked.

"Yes, thanks to Ms. Veronika for handling it and now if we go as per the plan, we can almost complete the work today " he said by sipping his coffee.

"Now I should go and check on other things, " I said completing my coffee and throwing the empty cup in the bin.

"Sure" said Mr. Zakir with that I walked towards my cabin.

Today went by blur with work now it's already 7.00 everyone left except me and Mr. Zakir. We both are sitting in his cabin finalizing the each and every element of quotation.

Zakir's POV:

We are finalizing the quotation. Ms. Veronika shah is engrossed in her work like there is no tomorrow I mean she is very dedicated towards her work. Sometimes I really wonder what is the reason that she ran away from marriage.

Flashback

(This scene is when Veronika joined office and gave her first presentation)

When I heard her name Veronika Shah in the conference room, I zone out to the thoughts of the girl who ran away before the two days of our arrange marriage writing a note that she loves someone else. 

I never hated a girl but, this girl I despise the girl because of her my father's health worsen even more as the girl ran away. The reason is that she had a lover. I came out of my thoughts as the administrative manager asked about my opinion on the presentation. 

But I asked her name which she replied "Veronika Shah" with that I adjourned the meeting.

The first thing I did was to check her profile where I caught off guard as she is the same girl who ran away as it has the same home address in her voter ID. I laughed at the situation.

It's not like we talked before our marriage, even I didn't see her face. This marriage is just to fulfill my father's wish. If she didn't want to marry she should have said earlier not run away from the marriage, we lost our reputation among our pals this made fathers health worsen more.

I determined to myself, I will make your life hell Veronica shah for running away from our arrange marriage. You ruined my reputation, my father's health worsens because of you know I will ruin you. I will make you beg for me, but still, I will make your life miserable.

I have plus point here as she doesn't know that I am her ex-fiancé(It's obvious from her behavior that she don't know who I am)

Flashback end

I really made her life miserable by assigning her more work every time. I am shocked is an understatement for the fresher to do her work perfectly and at time. Every time she completed the task which is difficult I got impressed.

 Still, I used rude words showing that I am not at all impressed by her work, but she really progressed our company to the next level, That's why she became CFO in a short period of time.

I learned a little about her, she goes to the club every Friday where she meets her friends, she's really soft from inside, unlike her cold behavior that she show-off and her first love is chocolate.

I really thought one of her friends is her Boyfriend but at the end, I got to know that they are friends/ over protective brothers (Ya, you heard right, over protective brothers, any guy who even tries to come near her they beat him to hell). So, now I wonder what's the reason for running away from the marriage.

It's been 6months I stopped torturing her and in friendly terms with her, why you ask I stopped torturing her because I feel like torturing myself by torturing her because She never showed her hatred.

 I will tell you an incident that happened almost 6months ago because of which I stopped torturing her and because of which she became a mystery girl who I want to know more and more every time I meet. From then I look forward meeting her.
