Kellin's P.O.V

I pushed myself higher on the swing set, beating Gerard by far. I smiled as the sun warmed my face and the wind ran through my hair. Yes, I'm like a child, I love nothing more than to sit on a swing in the sun. I heard a thud beside me and turned to see Gerard on the floor. I hopped of my swing and knelt next to him, thinking he was badly hurt. I shook his shoulder gently, leaning over him. "Gerard?" I asked worriedly. He opened his sparkling hazel eyes, staring directly into mine.  A slow smile spread across his face and I'm sure I mirrored the same expression. He brought his hand up and brushed my hair behind my ear. He leant in to kiss me and I was quickly brought back to reality. I pulled away. "What are you doing? Why the fuck would you want to kiss me? Are you blind? Have you not seen how scrawny I am? Have you not seen my greasy hair? I mean, I practically have the personality of a shopping bag!" I carried on ranting. Gerard smirked after my shopping bag comment and playfully told me to shut up. I rolled my eyes and was about to carry on my rant when his lips silenced me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to him. I could taste coffee on his lips and it didn't put me off in the slightest. His tongue begged for entrance and I teased him by keeping my lips shut tight. He ran his tongue along my bottom lip and I moaned softly. Suddenly, I remembered where I was and what I was doing. I quickly sat up and looked to see if anyone had seen us. Luckily, no one was in sight. I sighed in relief, quickly scuttling to stand up. "That can't happen again."

"I was only messing." Gerard chuckled dryly, making me wince. Even though he was saying mean things to me, I could still see a hint of hurt in his eyes.

"Oh." I looked at the floor, unsure about whether I believed him. He sighed.

"Lets just go home." He pulled his jacket tighter around him and set off leaving me to trail behind him.
