Chapter 2 - In love

Millies POV

Yes, The girls were coming over tonight. Sleepover time! What should we do? I know talk about the boys. I guess it all works out, I like James. Charlotte likes Brad. Claudia likes Tris and Alex likes Connor so there's no fighting over them.

Brad knocked on my door. "Come in" i said. He walked in with only shorts on. "BRAD! Put some clothes on!" i said putting my hands over my eyes. " What? Its hot!" he said to argue his case. "Its not! A) its December and B) The girls will be here in a minute. Don't embarrass me by wearing nothing!" I said. " Fine. But i wanted to ask you don't mind being at home on your own with the girls do you? As Mum and Dad have gone to Coventry to see Family. I'm supposed to look after you. But Tris has invited me out tonight. So.." He said doing puppy dog eyes. " That's fine. As long as you make breakfast in the morning" I said, thinking that me and the crew would have the house to ourselves! " Yeah fine" Brad said leaving to put a top on. I went downstairs to the lounge to pick out some films. We were gonna sleep in the lounge so very kindly brad had moved the sofas out of the way. Brad was in the kitchen making Me and the girls some dinner for when they got here. Pasta by the smell of it. *Door bell* "Brad can you get it?! That'll be the girls." I shouted. "On it!" Brad answered the door and the girls all ran in.

Brad had left and we had just finished dinner. We all had our sleeping bags out in the Lounge and had music playing at full volume on the surround sound speakers. We were having a pillow fight when the Doorbell rang. Who was that? At 11:59pm? I went to answer the door checking through the keyhole before opening. James. I opened. 

Me: hi

James: Hi can u turn that music down? Its really loud!

Me: Yeah sorry! We thought you were out Brad said you were going out with him and Tris? WHy you at home!

James: I didn't wanna go, I didnt tell Brad that  i just said I was ill.

Me: Oh well you can join us. Were having a sleepover?

James: Ermmmm OK. Why not?!

"Guys James is gonna join us for our sleepover" I said. "Wheres he gonna sleep Mill?" Alex said. "Oh yeah I hadn't thought of that... Well he can borrow some of Brads Pyjamas and he can sleep in brads room or down here on the sofa" I suggested. " Ill sleep on the sofa if that's OK. Ill just go and get some pj's." James said then left  upstairs to Brads room.  The rest of us picked out a film - Bride Wars. And got into bed. James walked in and settled on the sofa. We put on the film and James shouted "OMG! I love this film" Alex looked at me then Charlotte did and then Claudia and they all gave the exact same look of confusion! 

The film finished and Charlotte had fallen asleep halfway through. Alex nodded off just as it finished. James couldn't see with all of us in our sleeping bags so he came down on the floor next to me."Oi Millie! Its cold let me in!" James got in the sleeping bag with me. Awkward or what. We all fell asleep about 1 am. At 4 am I hear the door unlock an it wakes me! It was Brad. James' arm was round me! Cringey, Brad walked in and saw James and me, I pretended to be asleep so Brad wouldn't have a go at me there and then. Brad had told me about James and that he broke every girls heart. That wasn't gonna stop me loving him.

*10 am* 

We had all woken up and were in the Kitchen. James had decided to go home. So it was just the four of us, Brad was still in bed. About an hour after that the girls left and Brad trudged downstairs and i could clearly see he had been drinking last night. " Alright?" I said "Bit hungover, don't tell mum or dad they'll kill me!" He said popping in some toast. "My lips are shut." I said. He turned and his face showed expression of remembering something.

Brad: Was James here last night?

Me: So what if he was?

Brad: Why was he in youre sleeping bag?

Millie: He was lonely at home so he came and joined us for a sleepover. He was cold on the sofa so he joined me. Nothing happened in the way you're thinking Brad!

Brad: I should hope not! He's my best mate I don't want you hitting on him!

Millie: Oh Shut up! You're hungover talk to me when you actually know what you're saying! 

I stormed off upstairs. Slamming my door. I texted James: Hi, Its Millie. I hope you enjoyed last night even if it was girly! M x
