I just want to thank everyone for reading the books I write.  I loved chocolate and after writing the first few chapters, I knew there would be a sequel.  So thank you so much guys, and I hope you enjoy chapter one of the sequel....Caramel.

Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.

Harley groaned as she put the pillow on her head.  She didn't wan to get up today, there was work.  The alarm didn't stop going off and it began to bother Harley so she just got up anyway.

She sat up and looked over at the alar,, that was still chiming as she put her hand over the top, hearing the little click as the chirping stopped.

6:00am

"I hate mornings,"  she grumbled.  She yawned and her feet hit the cold wooden floor.  She walked through her tiny house into the bathroom across the hall.  She turned the light on and saw herself in the mirror.  Her hair was everywhere.  Her hair.

She was no longer the golden honey blonde she was years ago.  Her hair was a light brown now. But she liked being blonde, so she colored it.  She hadn't colored it in a while because she had been busy with school.  Her hair was long and reached well past her shoulder blades, the top of it showing her darker hair, but the rest from her neck down was blond.

"Jesus,"  Harley said staring at the pimple on her temple.  It was an angry red with a white center.  She touched it and it hurt like a bruise.  She put her finger nails between it and squished with a little bit of pressure and the pimple bursted.

"Ew,"  Harley said looking at her finger and the fluid on it.

"Jesus I stink,"  She said turning the water to the shower on.  She walked to her room and grabbed jeans and a T-Shirt along with underwear and a bra before walking back to the bathroom.

She showered and got dressed.  Harley put her hair up in a bun after drying it and left the bathroom to head to the kitchen to make herself breakfast.  She turned the lights on and put a skillet on the stove.  She pulled her phone off of the charger in the outlet in the kitchen and unlocked it while opening the refrigerator.

Just as she was scrolling through Pinterest, Barbara's name popped up on the screen.  She answered the call, putting the phone between her ear and shoulder.

"Hey, Babsy,"  Harley answered, pulling the egg cartoon out of the refrigerator.

"Hey Harley, I'll be there in about 30 minutes."  Barbara said over the phone.

Harley turned the stove on and put the skillet on the burner.  She waited until it was warm and put a dash of olive oil in the pan.

"Yeah okay.  Do you want me to make you some breakfast?"  Harley asked her friend.  She cracked the two eggs in the pan.

"My 2 eggs?"  Barbara laughed, "I bet your making them right now?"

"Yep."  Harley said popping the p.  "I don't eat eggs, only you Babs,"  Harley laughed, watching the eggs fry in the pan.

"Okay Harley,"  Barbara laughed.

"Did you arrange the moving truck?"  Harley asked.

"Yep.  They'll be over today around 2, so we have a couple hours to make sure everything's packed up."  Barbara said.

"Harley?" Barbara asked.

"Yeah, Babs?"

"Are you sure you want to come back to Gotham?  I mean the last time you were here--"

"Yes Babs, I know, I completely lost it.  But that was years ago, this is now."  Harley said rolling her eyes.  She put Barbara's two eggs onto a plate and turned the stove off.  She put the carton of eggs back into the refrigerator.  In trade, she pulled out milk and poured herself a glass for breakfast.

"Okay, Harley I'm just making sure,"  Barbara said.

The two girls  said their goodbyes and hung up.  Harley turned the stove off and put the milk back in the refrigerator.  She walked into her living room and sat in the couch, and put the news on.  About 20  pminutes later there was a knock at her door.

Harley looked out the blinds, saw it was Barbara and opened the door.  Theo two girls embraced each other in a hug.

"Where's my breakfast Harley?"  Barbara said.  Harley closed the door and led Barbara into the kitchen.  She handed her the plate of eggs.

"For me?"  She said dramatically,  Harley smiled and shook her head at her.  Barbara finished her eggs and the two got to work immediately.  Boxing up Harley's stuff once and for all.  Harley was moving back into Gotham, she was going to get a job with the GCPD.  She wanted to help out in the labs, and Barbara said that Lee wasn't there anymore, so she could run it.  She would prove to Jim Gordon that she had changed, that she was good now.

When the truck came, Harley couldn't be happier.  It was new beginnings ahead of her now.  The men, Barbara, and Harley all loaded her stuff into the truck and drove off to Gotham.

Harley lived in the country.  That's where Barabara brought her after Harley's breakdown.  Barbara knew that it would be in best interest  for Harley to be in an environment where she grew up.  In the country side, in a little house in the middle of a field.  Open air, open sunshine and rain.

Harley didn't remember much of how Barbara told her she used to be.  She didn't really remember what happened when she was in Gotham last.  It was strange to her, she remembered someone, but she couldn't remember who.  When she tried to remember, it was blurry, all the memories from those times, years ago.

Whenever she asked Barbara who this person was, Barbara would turn away from Harley and would say this person was a nobody.  She told Harley it never happened, and that this person was just a nightmare her mind had conjured.

Harley and Barbara arrived at the new house of Harley's, just down the street from the GCPD.  It was a small two bed, one bath, home,  much like the old one she had.  They moved her in with ease and Barbara left to leave Harley to her new home.  She wandered around looking through the rooms.  She liked the open floor plan for such a small house.

She ordered herself a small cheese pizza from a pizza parlor for lunch and ate it.  She out her shoes on and grabbed her house keys and began to walk to the GCPD that was only a few minutes by walk up the street.  She put her hands on the cool glass and felt a shock go right through her.

She heard laughing.

A dark, menacing laugh.  It was in her, all around her, incased in a bubble she couldn't explain.

Her hand was off the door and she was breathing heavy.  The laughing gone, vanished.  She shook her head.

"Get it together, Quinzel,"  She told herself.  She took a deep breath and opened the door.  A buzz was about the building.  Phones ringing, printers working, people shouting back and forth.

Harley walked through the building, looking for Jim, finally finding him at the top of the stairway in the commissioners office.  Harley walked up the wooden staircase and knocked on the door.

Jim and Harvey Bullock turned around as Harley opened the door.

The two men looked at her in shock.  Gapping mouths, frozen in place, fear in their eyes.

"So, I heard you guys are hiring in the lab?"
