"So cutie,"  Harley began.  Adam turned his head to look at the woman walking down the street next to him.  "Where is this 'cult' huh?  I mean, we looked in the warehouse, and it was a bust!  Are you playin some kinda game here?"  Harley asked suspiciously.

Adam shook his head.  "My fault,"  He said, "I should've remembered the broadcast heist."  Adam mumbled.

"What are you talking about?"

"Dwight, the leader of the cult, made this miraculous plan to show Jerome's comeback on the live News feed.  But since he thought he failed, he has Jerome's face and intends to finish what Jerome started."

"So you mean ta tell me, that we walked through the shaddiest part of Gotham to take ya little shortcut, for you to forget that J wasn't there?!"  Harley exclaimed.  She stomped her foot on the damp brick in the alleyway.

"I forgot!"  Adam raised his voice.  Adam continued walking and Harley sighed dramatically catching up to him.

"So where is he now, huh?"  Harley asked.

"I honestly have no idea-"

"So why are we walking down the street!?"  Harley shouted again stopping again, stomping her feet again, her heels clicking on the brick.

Adam took a frustrated breath and let it out.  He stopped and turned to look at Harley, who now had her hand crossed over her chest, her bat over her shoulder.

"We are walking to the News station to join Dwight-"

"Hold up, hold up, hold up.   I am not about to join a cult for Jerome unless he's in it.  Unless he's alive, I'll pass." Harley said.  Adam rolled his eyes.

"Pay attention!  Jerome is obviously alive somewhere, so if he finds out about this cult, there's a good chance he'll join it."  Adam said.  Harley huffed, and Adam turned away, walking out to the end of the alley across the street of the News station.

Adam stopped and sat on a crate outside of a bar.  Harley's heels clicked behind him as she caught up and walked to the front of him to sit in his lap.  She sat herself across his legs and put her arms around his neck.  She kissed his cheek and grinned.

Harley was simply using Adam so she can get to Jerome.  Harley was blind before, but she knew he poisoned her somehow to help her remember.  Poison is poison, good or bad.  He was going to pay.  She would get Jerome to kill him slowly.  He would enjoy that she stayed loyal to him, and only him.

"Now what?"  Harley asked.

"Now we wait,"  Adam said. " We wait until the cult shows up and we watch."

"Why watch, wouldn't you want to get in on the fun?"  Harley asked with a wicked smile.

"Gotham PD was tipped off.  There's no way I'm getting caught.  I stay undercover, that's my job. Plus, I don't wanna get shot,"  Adam said watching the building as if it was going to get up and walk away.

"Seriously?  Don't wanna get shot?  Sweetie, I've been shot, I was knocked out!"  Harley giggled.

Adam paid no attention to her comment.   He was watching the News building.  Harley frowned and dropped her bat from her shoulder and let it lean against the brick wall.  She put a hand to the one of the scars on her collarbone.

She remembered that night well.  To not cross Jerome, or her sweet chocolate turns to caramel. Harley didn't like caramel as much as she liked chocolate.  It was just different to her.  Not as comforting to her.
