I think that's what the guy said, I couldn't really understand him. 😂😂
After their date, Adam walked Harley back home and the two exchanged numbers. It was around 9:00. Their date was a long one, the two got to know each other officially, and Harley was lucky already to score such a prize on her first day back in Gotham.
But she still couldn't keep the picture of Jerome Valeska out of her head. She knew she'd seen the boy somewhere, but couldn't remember where. Harley thought it was a little funny how he looked kinda like Adam, but that didn't matter to her. Adam was a good guy, and this Jerome Valeska was obviously a villainous person. Harley undressed and climbed into bed, exhausted but excited from her night out. Her head hit the pillow and she was out like a light.

The next morning, Harley was excited to get to work. Today was her first day in the labs, and she was over excited. She showers, left her hair down, got dressed in jeans and a longsleeve peach shirt. She grabbed her white lab coat she was issued from Harvey and Jim, and walked to the GCPD. She made sure to grab the handle of the door to avoid the laughing, and walked in.
She walked through the doors, and weaved her way through busy cops until she reached the lab doors. She scanned her ID and the little light turned green. Before opening the door, she looked across the GCPD where she thought she heard her name, to catch eye contact with Adam, standing at his desk with a bunch of reports. He smiled, and waved at her and Harley waved back before going inside the lab, and closing the door behind her.
She came face to face with a dark haired woman, in a similar lab suit.
"I thought you were dead!" Lee shouted. She grabbed for a gun under the ex animation table and pointed it at Harley. Harley sqeauked and put her hands up in surrender.
"Het, I'm just here for the open spot in the lab--"
"I don't give a damn why you're here, you're just as crazy as that lunatic, and you might fool Harvey and Jim but you won't fool me!" Lee said the gun still steady on Harley as Harley had her back to the door.
"Let me explain, please?" Harley asked. Lee said nothing, so Harley spilled.
"My friend never told me why I left Gotham, she just said I needed fresh air and a new environment. She said I wasn't healthy last time I was here, and I moved back because I'm an adult, she can't keep me from wanting to live somewhere," Harley explained, her hands still in the air.
"Wait, you don't remember anything?" Lee asked lowering her gun.
"I try to, but it makes my head hurt so no, I don't really remember why I left Gotham. But my friend said I was--"
"16. You were 16. How old are you now, it's been 3 years?" Lee asked.
"I'm 18. I'll be 19 in a few days actually." Harley aid lowering her arms.
"Welcome back, Harley," Lee said. Putting the gun back under the table.
"Don't try anything though, I have my eyes on you," Lee said.
"Yeah I think everybody does," Harley remarked.
Lee began to get Harley familiar with the lab and its procedures. Because Harley didn't really have a certification, and the GCPD was disparate, she couldn't do too much stuff. So she had a spot as an assistant. Lee said she would still teach her, but she would have no choice but to be a paid intern.
