I woke up the next morning to the smell of pancakes cooking. Kim was still in the bed but Amanda was, I'm guessing in the kitchen.
I slowly got up from the bed, careful not to wake up Kim.
Who am I kidding, she's a heavy sleeper.
I walked into the kitchen to find Amanda sitting in a chair near the counter with her head bent over and her shoulders slightly shaking. I could her her muffled cries. She lifted her head and stared out the window.
I walked back and made my steps a bit noisier so she can hear. I didn't want to embrasses her. This time I found her by the stove with a spatula in her hand.
"Good morning Jenny"
"Good morning" I replied.
"Is Kim still sleeping?" she asked me without looking at me.
Strange
"Nope" Kim walked in with messy hair. She looked at us, yawned and gave us a small smile.
"Need help?"
"No thanks, I'm good"
I went back into the room to clean it up a bit. I picked up the dirty dishes and made her bed. Doing so, I found my phone. I picked it up and turned it on. There was no notifications.
Walking back to the kitchen I left the dishes in the sink and told Amanda that I had cleaned her room.

After breakfast, we sat on the couch and turn on the tv. There was nothing good on so we turned it off.
"Omg, I totally forgot I have work today" Amanda said.
"Its okay we can just leave." Kim said. She got up from the couch, went into the room and walked back into the living room. I did the same. We both thanked her as we walked out the door and separated our paths when Kim dropped me off at my house.

So this chapter was a filler and I just felt like it needed it.
