After the talk with Evelyn,it got me thinking.

What I said was true. We cant hold grudges on people forever. So I have decided to forgive/apologize to him through a letter.

That is why I am here. In the post office on a Friday afternoon, waiting in line to send him the letter that wont be expected.

Where is it?

When Enrique left my mom, I know he told her where he was staying just to gloat.

I just cant find the letter that he told her. Opening the bottom drawer in my moms room, I tried to find the envelope.

Bingo.

moving all the papers I had shoved out of the way back, I sat down and opened the letter.

Dear Susan,
As you know. I have left you for a good reason. I just couldn't handle being wth your excuse of a daughter and you. You're probably crying, cause I'm so Amazing, when you got this letter. I couldn't read anymore. The bastard left my mother to be with another girl.

Where is she anyways?

Getting up with a sigh I went over to the kitchen table and began to write him a letter that I hopefully will be lucky enough to get him to read.

Dear Enrique,
Hi. It's Susan's excuse of a daughter. I know you're not expecting this. You have probably already threw it away before you have gotten a chance to read it, but I wanted to forgive you.
Forgive you for making Susan and I's life hell. You hit us both without giving a damn.
Anyways I just hope you have can have a nice life with your new girl.

Folding up the paper into thirds, I grabbed a white envelope and stuffed it in. I doubt he will read it. But hey, I tried.

Getting up from the brown chair, I made my way over to the mailbox.

It was a nice day, hot actually for March. Luckily I was wearing a coral colored shirt with black leggings.

Opening the mailbox door, I gently put the letter inside as if it carried life's secrets.

I haven't ever really done something like this and it felt good. It took a load of my shoulders.
Because a journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step.
With a sigh I mumbled to myself, "done"
