After telling Alondra my story, I was sent to the office. I felt better. Relaxed.
As I entered the office, my mom gave me a hug. "Thank god your okay." She said.
I was released from her grasp, not before giving her a smile. I sat on the chair unsure of what is happening.
Dr. Vandor walked in, looking as professional as ever. "Hello Jenny. I can see you are doing better?"
I nodded.
"Good. Good. Now I called you in here to say, since you've been behaving well. Not showing any signs of distress or anything. We have decided to let you go home."
I could feel a smile form on face. I didn't like being here. I was treated like a prisoner.
"Thank you." I wanted to go home, but I kind of felt bad leaving Alondra. We bonded. I just hoped she got better with the treatment.
I got up and followed my mom outside.
"Do you want to do anything tomorrow after you come home from school?" Mom said grabbing her jacket.
I think think was the first time in awhile where she wanted to do something with me. I was glad that after all mom and I have been through, she still loves me.
Enrique. Kevin. Evelyn. All guilty of making our life hell.

Walking into school the next day was a little tough.
I was tired. Barely slept last night since we came back from the... "hospital".
I went to the locker room to get ready for gym.
4-25-23. Spinning the lock to the locker, the door to the locker room opened. In walked in my least favorite person.
Hoping she doesn't notice me, I quickly and quietly changed into my black shorts and purple shirt.
Closing my locker I heard faint crying.
I looked around trying to find the source. There could only be one explanation to who that would be. Evelyn.
I had to help her out. Although I could just leave her and...
Going with the first choice I walked towards her.
"Are you okay?" I tapped her shoulder with her back facing me.
Startled she turned around and I saw her eyes were red. Sitting next to her on the bench I said, "Evelyn. What happened?"
She looked at me. I know she wasn't going to tell me. I had to try to get her to talk.
"What are you doing here?" She sniffled.
"Umm.. well I have gym and I heard you crying and I wanted to know if were okay."
She just looked at me before breaking down into sobs.
"HE- Up- mee!!" I couldn't understand what she was saying.
"Evelyn, calm down."
"Kevin. broke up with me" She said after calming down.
Como? What?
"What do you mean? What happened?"
"Kevin broke up with me. I know I sound stupid but.. i don't know" She wiped away some tears.
I feel bad for her. Even though she is my arch nemesis, I couldn't hold a grudge against her forever. So it had to be sooner or later.
I guess it was sooner.
"I loved him. I thought he loved me too" Sniffle "But I guess I was wrong."
I gave her a knowing look. I know what is feels like when the one you love doesn't feel the same way.
"Wait." Evelyn said.
"Yeah, what?"
Lowering her eyes, she said " Why are you being nice to me? I'm mean to you. I mean.. we are supposed to hate each other." I could tell that she thought that she was sounding selfish.
She wasn't. It was true we were supposed to hate each other.
So I told her, "Well we cant hate each other forever can we now?"
