It was a Friday and I was exhausted. I spotted Danni across the school parking lot.
"Hey Danni!" She swiftly turns to face me and smiles.
"Hi Rose." She says once I catch up in the parking lot.
"How was your weekend."
"Horrible!" I say. "It was Danni-less." I joke.
"Yeah. You've been a bit distant lately." She says with sadness.
"I was actually wondering if you wanna come over this weekend?" I asked hopefully. I needed a friend. Not Issac. Not Jacob. But my actual best friend.
Jacob was your best friend first.
I frowned at that thought.
"Yeah. Can we ride the bus to your house?" I looked to her questionably and she smiled.
"Conner ride's that bus!" She squealed. I smiled and nodded, happy for her just as we approached school.

Danni laughed as her and Conner stepped off the bus in front of me. I jumped off the last step and looked back to see Jacob step off the bus and swiftly to his front door. I now remember why I decided to start walking home.
"C'mon Rose what are you staring at?" Danni says pulling me to my house.
"Where's Conner?"
"He left." She simply states as I unlock my front door and hang my coat.
"So what do you wanna do?" She asked.
"Well I was thinking we can go catch a movie around 7. Then stop by the store at 8:30 and get sweets and snacks. Then come back around 9 and begin our sleepover."
"Sounds great!"She cheers.
"Well what do you wanna do until then?" Danni asked.
"Well we can watch the re-runs of Teen Wolf Before the world premiere at 10." I suggested. She smiled and sat on my couch.
"Perfect."
