"She destroyed my cauldron! My only cauldron!" I muttered as I healed the burnt side of my body with Eoin's help. Of course, that didn't fix my arm - that's ash. But that does give me a chance for me to try something.
Anyways, I now need to buy a new cauldron. I already made an inquiry to Loeta about the cauldron; apparently their creation is limited to town NPCs. But financially, I'm broke. So I need to sell a few things. I shuddered. I didn't want to go back to the town; I don't have a taste for discrimination or same-sex flirting. But I have to. I'll just disguise myself instead using the cloak that re-created from wolf pelt using Melly's equip as a template. I added wolf ears just for fun.
Faux Wolf Cloak: A simple wolf cloak stitched with Shadow Silk by Nio. EVA +20, Identity hidden to strangers. Production Quality: 6
Wow, repairing cloth and fixing clothes really ups my craft skill. Even though sewing is probably a trait, it seems that as long as you have prior knowledge of the activity you can perform it. It only fails to gain proficiency in sewing until one gets the trait. The robe's pretty useful. I put it on, and it fit comfortably. At least, it would if I had another arm. I whistled loudly, and Echelon bounded out of the forest.
"Hi, Echelon!" I yelled. Echelon barked happily in reply.
"Can you take me to Loeta's grove?" It's easier for me to travel by wolf than by foot in this gigantic place. Echelon nodded, and I leaped onto his back. We sped through the forest, leaping over rocks and other small plants. As we moved, I thought about my friends.
I didn't want to kill them. Really. But with all the death they caused, I'm kind of obligated to return favors. It's also faster to respawn by death rather than actual movement, but in my case I like the travel. It's inspiring.
We passed through the barrier. "Thanks, Echelon." I scratched his ears.
He licked my arm and left. I turned to the tree and saw Loeta sitting in midair. "Oh, it's Nio. What's up?"
"Just three questions, sorry if I bothered."
"It's never a bother. Your questions are fun. What happened to your arm?"
"Accident. First, is it possible for a guardian to leave its domain?"
"Well, no, but that's for me. For you, though, it might work."
"Oh, okay." Players have special rules. That makes sense. "Next, is there a spell or addition that can link my inventory to my potion chest?"
"Oh, I don't know. But Tiri might." She turned to the side. "Any ideas, Tiri?"
Another being came out of nowhere. "I think I do have such a blessing." 'Tiri' was similar to Loeta, but her hair was blue and braided with gold. She was a bit smaller around the chest, but she seemed energetic. Her eyes were literally glowing with whitish-blue light. I got on one knee and bowed.
"Milady, I apologize for not greeting you earlier, My name is-"
"Nio, I know." Her voice was soft and smooth, like Loeta before I healed her tree. "Loeta's told me about you. I'm Tiristia, but call me Tiri. Thank you for saving my friend from whatever she let herself get infected with. She can be so scatterbrained sometimes; she wouldn't notice something like that until her chest gets smaller."
"Hey!" Loeta interjected. Her face was tinted blue.
"And no need to be so formal, we're all guardians here. I'm the guardian of the Ainsio Forest."
"There are other forests?"
"Of course. This world is vast, after all. There are many other forests you have yet to see."
