Hey guys,
I have some explaining to do.
I recently lost someone very close to me, and have been a bit of a wreck since he died. Hence the lack of update.
I have written a very short, very shitty new chapter, but I want to give this story a real shot, so I'd rather keep trying to get over my loss and improve the writing than to update just for the sake of updating, and as annoying as waiting might be, I'd like to think you guys would prefer a genuinely good story than a rushed one.
My mental health is kind of off the rails, and grieving sucks. A lot. No matter how much I try to write, it's not good enough, and I don't feel right posting it.
I hope to have an update for you guys within the next week or so, but I wanted to explain my absence, because I feel like I owe you that much.
The response to the story since my absence has been heart warming and overwhelming, and has given me a reason to smile for the first time in 3 weeks, so thank you.
I just ask you to stick by me a few more days, and then I'll try be back to normal for you guys.
