The Run and Go

Morning

Tyler woke up with tears streaming down his face like a river. The reminder of what he had done brought him to tears again. Josh, who was in the kitchen heard Tyler's broken sobs and rushed to his side.
"Tyler? What's wrong?"
Tyler heard Josh's calming voice and instinctively gripped on to him, wrapping his arms around Josh's chest. Josh didn't push Tyler away only because of the fact that Tyler was clearly in a horrible place at the moment. Josh patted the crying boys back in an attempt to calm him down. It worked slightly and Tyler's sobbing calmed down to silent crying.
"I messed up Josh. I killed him."
"Killed who?" Josh used this opportunity to finally find out more about Tyler's situation.
"Zack! My brother!" Tyler went back to sobbing.
Josh sat in silence. He felt terrible for every rude thing he had said previously to Tyler. Josh held onto the other with a tight grip. He wasn't sure what to say "I-It'll be okay Tyler"
Tyler sobbed uncontrollably "No it won't Josh! My brother is dead! I'm going to jail for it! I have to live in hiding now all because I tried to kill myself!" Tyler sobbed more than ever now.
Josh was surprised "Y-You what? Tyler I... I'm sorry."
"I don't want to live like this anymore! I don't want to live at all!" Tyler cried into Josh's shoulder
"Tyler don't say that, come on. Just stay alive, things will get better."
Tyler paused 'stay alive'. Tyler stayed silent because he couldn't think of what to say.
Tyler was beginning to calm down. Josh felt it was best if he remained silent until his friend calmed down.
"Josh?" Tyler spoke quietly, he still sounded miserable.
"Yeah Ty?"
"Thanks for being here for me."
Josh smiled at Tyler "You're welcome."

A few hours had passed and Tyler was finally completely calmed down. The situation had brought Tyler and Josh closer together and they were finally acting like friends. They sat watching Sex and The City, Josh's favorite show and a show that Tyler had never seen, happily.
"Hey Josh" Tyler interupted the tv show so Josh was forced to turn it down
"Yeah?"
"I should give you a nickname" He smiled
Josh chuckled "Yeah? Well what is it then."
"Uh.... Dunno. Maybe... Jishwa!"
"What?"
"I said Jishwa"
"Jishwa? Why?"
"I thought it was cute."
Josh smiled "You should call me spooky"
Tyler giggled "Spooky?"
"Yeah, it was my DJ name in high school"
Tyler giggled some "Spooky Jishwa it is"
"Well now I need a nickname for you" Josh wasn't very good with nicknames
"I've never been given a nickname"
"Hm... maybe Tyjo? Since it's like, a combination of your first and last name?"
"Sure, I like Tyjo. It's cute" Tyler smiled
Josh smiled "I should make that your contact name on my phone," Josh paused, "Wait, do you even have a phone?"
"Yeah, I just don't use it often. Gimme your number." The boys exchanged phone numbers and put the newly given nickames down as the contact name. Tyler even went as far as to put a heart next to Josh's name without letting him know. Josh smiled and put his arm around Tyler like friends do. They spent all day talking and watching TV.
"So Josh, what kind of music do you like?"
"Uh... I guess I like any kind of music. I am a fan of rock music and alternative."
"Really? Me too" Tyler smiled "I tried to become a singer... It was going well until, you know." His smile immediately died as he realized his dream could never come true now.
"Oh... Well were you any good?"
"I think I was. I played piano"
"I play the drums, maybe we could have started a band. Maybe we will once this whole situation blows over." Josh tried to stay optimistic.
"That... That sounds nice. Too bad I'll probably end in up jail before we get a chance." he folded his arms and let out a deep sigh "Man, I hate life."
Josh frowned, hearing Tyler say that broke his heart. "Just look on the bright side, you have place to live, and you've got me. That's pretty cool right?"
Tyler couldn't help but smile "Yeah, you're cool Josh" He leaned his head onto Josh's shoulder.
They stayed like this all night, sitting close and telling each other stories and other things about their lives until they both fell asleep on each other happily. It was the start of a new happy future.

Welp, that was nothing but fluff and sadness. Chapter 4's gonna be fun so stay tuned. I'm sorry it took so long to get this out I was busy and I had shit to do. I might write chapter 4 today and have it out by later tonight, if not tomorrow.
