Chapter 11

Aaron's POV
"Mr and Mrs. FalconClaw your daughter is in critical condition. We aren't sure if she'll make it." "Can we see her?" Aph almost broke out crying when she said that. The doctor lead us to the room where Lilith was. Aph pulled a chair up next to her bed and started crying. I had tears running down my face too. I went over and hugged her. "Aph can't you heal her?" "No I used the last of my power to save you." She kept crying and I held her tighter. We both heard her phone buzz. I grabbed it and read the text. "Aph remember Laurence." She froze. I held Lilith's phone so tight it broke. "AARON!" Aph yelled I looked at her and I saw my reflection in the window. I dropped the phone and went home. I summoned my demonic sword and I cast a tracking spell to help me find Laurence. I then followed the map until I found him and pinned him to the wall sword to his neck. "A-Aaron!?" "Why do you have Lilith's phone number?!" I yelled at him. "I ran into her one day okay. Look is she okay?" I sent my sword away and walked away. I got a call from Aph and I went back to the hospital. "Doc said she won't make it." She said with tears streaming down her face. I hugged her tightly then we heard it. 'Beep beep beep.....beeeeeeeeeeep'. Aph ran over to Lilith but doctors rushed in and took her. I hugged Aph tighter then ever. "NOOOO!" She yelled. We slowly fell to our knees crying. I picked her up and carried her out of the hospital and to the car. When we got home we went to our room and I held her until she fell asleep. I got up and went outside. I sat on the porch and cried for a good 30 minutes before I heard the door open and felt Aph hug me. We sat there for while still processing what happen. We hated losing our only daughter.
Aphmau's POV
I fell asleep in Aaron's arms while crying then I woke up to the sound of someone crying. Aaron wasn't next to me so I went downstairs. I put some water in a tea pot and went to see him. He was crying on the porch. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him. We sat there until I heard the loud whistle from the pot and dragged him inside. I guess I can't tell him now. "Aaron I am gonna call everyone tomorrow ok" I looked at him and he nodded. "No use your words" "that's okay Aph" I giggled and put some tea bags in the water. "You seem to feel better" my smile turned into a frown but I hid it. "Um....you could say that" "Aph whats-" I cut him off by putting a cup of tea in front of him. "If we had only said no to letting her use the car" I said tears running down my face. He hugged me and gave me the cup of tea that was on the counter. I drank it. We went to bed not wanting to talk about today anymore.
~~~~2 months later~~~~
I have told everyone I was pregnant but Aaron making them swear not to tell him. He has been depressed ever since the accident. I am gonna go to his work and surprise him. I get to the office and ask to be shown where Aaron's office was. I get there and see a woman trying to kiss Aaron and him pushing her away. I burst in and throw the woman off him. I feel the baby kick hard and I fall down. "Aphmau are you okay babe!?" "Yeah, but I have a surprise." I smile and put his hand on my stomach. He gives me a weird look which was over taken with joy. "A-Aph are you?" I nod and he hugs me. "Can't......... Breath!" He let's go and kisses me. He's happier than ever and I was so happy.
