ROOP's POV
With colourful fabric still scattered around the work table and some dresses up on the mannequins, I panicked at the lack of time.
"Where is your dad?" I asked Mika'il as I grabbed a safety pin from his hand and pinned the dupatta on the mannequin's shoulder.
"I dunno, I think Duaa is trying his number," he shrugged and received a pointed look from me.
"Fine! Duaa api..." he groaned, rolling his eyes at me.
"There is an eight years diff—" I began to say but Duaa interrupted us.
"Papa is not picking up," she announced and I sighed before moving to the next mannequin.
