***8:37 PM***
The house was packed. My mom had more friends than I had years of being alive.
The Party was going great. I was sitting in the corner in the backyard near the snacks minding my own business, it was already night time and I wasn't hanging out with Jay because GG was hogging him. I looked around and that's when I saw it. GG and Jay making out. I need a hospital because honestly, I swear my heart began failing, I ran into the house and went into my room only to be greeted by a couple making out.
What was this a high school party?!
***5:23 PM***
I was wearing faded blue shorts and a white v-neck t-shirt with a pastel pink knitted sweater with black Suedette lace up wedge ankle boots, I know I don't dress up like this all the time but for some reason, I felt like I had to.
The place was filling up quickly it was getting crowded, someone began passing out beers at some point.
"Hey, I was looking for you," I turned and saw Jay looking at me.
"Oh, hey Jay did you need something?" I asked staring into his beautiful shiny gray eyes.
"Yeah, actually, I've been wanting to tell you this for a-" he got cut off by GG.
"Hey, I've been looking for you, let's go get drunk!" she said dragging Jay by the arm.
I watched them go. I was feeling empty for some reason. I walk around greeting and talking to whoever I could so I wouldn't be lonely.
***Current Time***
I ran out of my room and outside with tears falling down my face, I didn't care who saw. I ran to a familiar place.
I sat by the log crying to myself like I'd done years ago.

There used to be a question I would ask myself when I was younger. 'How can you put color into a black and white photograph?' After all those years I finally know the answer. You can't. You can't add color to a black and white photograph, but you can add a colorful frame to replace what it lacks.
I was that black and white Photograph and Jay was probably my colorful frame but I was too late. He found someone better and she already has color so they are perfect for each other.
