Chapter Four

Helena's PoV

I did that whole park really fast so I skid a little in a circle to make my grand entrance. I kept my shades on and hopped out. I wasn't planning on using this car to get to Port Angeles anyway. I was going to use my SSC Ultimate Aero. It went up to speeds of two hundred sixty-seven miles per hour. Gotta love the speed.

"Hi!" I say as I greet the people. They were from La Push I'm guessing. The girl, that most likely was beautiful, had three long thick scars on her face. If I wanted to, I could heal those, but of course then I would blow my cover. Nickname until given name is 'the girl'.

The man at her side, like stuck to in a protective was, had the shortest hair with big muscles. He was also the tallest, he also, trying to, be the most intimidating. Not that it really worked. He also was the most worn out looking of them, but I could say he was most likely still in his twenties... poor guy. Nickname 'the girl's protector'.

Next to him was also a dark tall boy, also muscular. His hair was a bit longer, his skin a tad lighter. A bit cocky looking... he was hotter than the first. Age probably in the twenties. Nickname... 'hotty'?... eh, maybe.

The next boy was in the running of 'whose is taller, the first guy or him' contest. He had lighter skin than the first two boys. His hair was also longer... I think this guy had the biggest muscles... He also had a younger looking face than the other two, also a bit a depression maybe? Age, probably teens, even if he has unbelievable muscles... I could see him a vampire in the Volturi guard just for them. Nickname is 'muscles'.

The last guy, probably the youngest, was the most normal looking boy of them. He had the longest hair, smallest muscles. A bit shorter than the rest, but not by much. He also had a paler complex than the first three people, but was close to 'muscles'. He was also the youngest, probably my age... well the age I looked, maybe a few months older. He was definitely the cutest... and in a weird way, I felt a pull towards him. I'm not sure how... maybe it was just the fact I was most attracted to him. Nickname... 'Dream boy'... maybe 'dreamy'... I don't really know.

I neared the group and felt my head spin a little... a thing that only happens when I'm copying something new. It was instinctual. I didn't pick what to copy. If my ability found something that it didn't copy already, it automatically does. After Port Angeles I'm going to have to use it.

"Hi," I smile at them. "What brings you here?" I ask politely, even if I already knew.

"I heard from some people that you lived by yourself, and I wanted to welcome you. See if you're settled in. Oh, and to give you these." The girl replies to me. She then hands me the muffins... I must say, it smells great. I can eat it when in human form, and it would help me stay human longer... for a bit.

"It looks great. Thank you..." I question lightly.

"Emily. Emily Young. This is my fiancé Sam," She points to the protective guy. I get it now. "Next to him are Paul, then Jake, and finally Seth." So the boy that is giving me a pull is Seth... it's a nice name.

"Helena. Helena Valkrie." I smile. I look over the boys and see that only two are watching me. Sam is looking at his fiancée, I don't blame him, and she's very beautiful. But Jake is staring at my car like its god. I smile. "So Jake, you like my car?"

Jake nods, but Paul replies.

"Of course. This kid loves cars. He fixed a car... if you ever need to get your car checked, as Jakey here." Paul says. I don't know if either he's flirting for himself or Jake, since he gave Jake some compliments... All I know is that he wants me to come to La Push.

"Really?" I give him a flirty smile, tilting my head in a cute way.

"Yup," Paul answers. He's now giving me a smile, but my eyes flicker to Seth, who has been quiet this whole time. He's giving me a look... not sure what though.

"So does this... awesome car god around here want to drive my baby?" I say, giving Jake a smile. I know that he has a liking to boring Bella... BB!

"R-really?" I made two people that are in love with someone else stutter today... but it's not close to any record I hold. In the fifteenth century, I was a seductress for my pleasure and helping the Volturi... in some ways... well I was like an assassin. Have my fun, and then kill. Easy and simple.

"Have a blast!" I underhand the keys towards him and he catches is with perfection. "You do have a license right?" A guilty looks comes on his face. "Go rebels!" I shout. "Just take someone with one with you please. I don't want any scratches." I smile. Jake and Paul bolt towards the car, fighting for who gets to drive.

"She gave me the keys." Jake argues.

"Yeah, but I'm older and have my license." Paul rebuts.

"But I have car." Jake says.

"Jake drives first." I yell at them like I'm already their friend... friend...Paul complains but goes in the passenger's seat. "If I'm not back by the time you guys do, place the keys in my mail box." I tell them.

"Are you going somewhere?" Seth asks. He voice... sigh...

"Port Angeles." I say with a smile directed to him.

"The how will you get there?" Sweet, he's so sweet.

"I'll take my SSC Ultimate Aero. It's faster." I say.

"You have a SSC Ultimate Aero?" Jake gaps at me. "How rich is your family?"

"Jake, that's rude." Emily scolds.

"It's okay, I get that a lot. I don't know how rich my family is." That is true... I do wonder how rich the Volturi is... "But enough to get anything I want. Now go drive my car before I take it back." I needed them to go. I could feel myself starting to change. My senses come first, and let me tell you, it smells like wet dog... Those guys smell like it. I could smell human scent from Emily... weird. I wonder if the new ability I copied came from them...

I think they wanted to talk more, but I needed blood... and badly.

"Look, I'm sorry, but I really need to get to Port Angeles. Thank you for coming over." I smile, but it was a hurried smile.

"Race?" Jake asks.

"I'll win, but no thanks." With that Paul shouts at Jake to go, and the car disappears.

"That's the happiest I've seen Jake since..." Edward came back. I already knew that.

"Glad I could help... when's his birthday?" I say. They give me a 'huh?' look. "Wait we'll take about that some other day. I really need to go." I pull my keys out of my bag. "Sorry if this seems rude."

"No, no. We came here unannounced." Sam said. "Let's go Seth." He said to Seth, who was still staring at me.

"Do you think you can come to Saturday's bonfire?" Seth blurts out at me. Bonfire... that means grouping... that means building trust. Nice.

"Yeah, I'm free." I smile at him.

"Awesome." He smiles at me, and then runs after Sam. He's so cute!!

I get into my SSC Ultimate Aero; this car was my speed baby. The Bugatti was my baby in everything else, my favorite... I hope the boys don't trash it...

I start driving as fast as I could do around here without killing anyone, and once I reach the highway, I let my body become a vampire once again.

My senses heighten and the sweet vampire smell consumes me. I feel as home now, in the speed of this car.

My cell starts going off. I check the ID to see 'Aro'. I flip it open and talk.

"Hello Aro, what's this unexpected surprise call for?"

"Why are you doing this?" Aro's voice comes through.
