Sorry for not posting, I've been out of it recently.
Anyway, I tried to go see Sherlock Holmes (cause I'm in Japan and it's still in theaters) with my dad, and they had this rule about people under 18 not being able to watch any movie after 9pm... ?? Weird right? I mean shouldn't it be okay cause I have a legal adult with me? But nooooooo, stupid theater rules...
Chapter Three
Helena's PoV
Edward tried to talk to me after that, but I completely ignored him. Instead I studied Bella, the human girl that held his heart. I tried to see what so intriguing about her. She was completely boring looking, and lacked personality from what I learned from when she was in Volterra and memories from people around her, but she still had two guys that were in love with, and countless others that had a crush on her.
The only way that Edward was attracted to her in the beginning was the fact she was his la tua cantant... that her blood sings to him... and her silent mind. Well except I could read Bella's mind. No shield could keep me out, an ability I gained before joining the Volturi guard. This ability also helped me learn she lacked personality. She also had a bad sense of style, extremely clumsy, and boring... well to those that don't have to protect her every minute of the day. *cough* Edward *cough*.
Plus she was an old soul... in most part. She was too mature for her age. Sure people might think that's good, but in my opinion it isn't. She should go to parties, get drunk, even get high for all I care, and learn what sex is like with a human. She's too... reserved in her life. She might be become a vampire in her future, but she only has one human life. Only one chance to do the list I just gave.
Of course she is perfect for Edward. Both are boring people. Don't try new things, virgins, don't have the sense of life, and... well I'll come back to this list later.
"Please tell me what you mean." Edward asked again. He was bugging me on my notes about how Bella was boring, even for human. It would help me on my mission. The mission Aro sent me on.
"What do you mean by that?" I ask innocently. I knew what he wanted though, how did I know he was in Volterra.
"Volterra... How did you know I was there? I wasn't even in the car..." Alice stole. He didn't need to finish it aloud. I could read minds like him.
"Because even if, I'm assuming it was Alice, didn't leave any trace of her in the car, Bella sure did. I know from my brother's report," lie, it was my car "Bella Swan was in the passenger's seat. A girl was driving and handed one of the guard's lots of money to enter the city on such a big event... I don't think your precious Bella has that type of money." Edward looked at me with... awe? Shock? I didn't really know. I think fear was mixed in though.
"W-what?" I made Cullen stutter!! I rock.
"Just be glad my brother didn't file a report on you guys. He was in a very happy mood, despite the fact that his car was missing from the airport, because he girlfriend... well I guess now fiancée is a better word." I smile and let him sink it in.
It was my car that I placed there just for Alice. I saw her coming and new she would want something fast. The brother figure was Alec, even if she doesn't have a girlfriend of any kind, but still... I think he should get one.
"Oh... I guess I should thank you..." There was an awkward air between us. I look over at Bella and see her watching us.
I learn over of Edward and whisper in his ear, "I'll get you back on that one." I give him a quick kiss on his cheek and stand up right as the bell rang. "Watch your back; you never know what's out there."
I gather my things and walk out, giving a wink to Edward and a sly smile at Bella. I wasn't trying to steal Edward, I'd rather... I don't know, but I would never want him like that.
I could hear Bella's screech of jealousy from her mind as I walk to the main office to give my slip back to Ms. Cope.
"I hope you had a good day." She gives me that perky smile. I nod slowly. "Good. You're definitely going to be a hit with the boys. So beautiful... model like." She says with envy.
"Uhhh, thanks." I act out, but she just gave me a boost in my ego, which is quite big after years of getting lots of attention.
I give her a small wave and walk out to my car, my Bugatti Veyron, which I love. Boys were surrounding it, looking at it with complete awe, envy, and jealousy. Who wouldn't? This fine piece of German engineering is the most expensive car model out there. The second fastest car out there... well legally. Some cars might be more expensive, but they're illegal. The color was just black and red, which I like.
I press the unlock button of the keys, which in turn made the car beep, which startled every boy lusting over the car.
"Do you like it boys?" I ask, knowing the answer, yes.
The boys in turn gape at me and I smirk. I knew the Cullen's car was a silver Volvo, but I would never get in that. I like my sports cars. The fast sleek design... heaven!! I don't really care if all my cars are two-seaters, I don't really think I'm going to need more of them at a time.
I slide on some dark sunglasses, the ones that are really big.
"As much as I would love to talk about my car collection, I need to get home and off to Port Angeles." I then gently push through the crowd and get into my car. I then revved my engine, totally for the boys, and speeded off.
I needed to get to Port Angeles; I could feel my body slowly go back to vampire. I only needed to do it every couple of weeks, but I was Gianna, the woman that wants to be turned into a vampire. I do have a cover, only a few vampires, Aro, Marcus, Caius, Jane, Alec, and Chelsea, from the Volturi. But one Cullen did know me... or about me. Carlisle Cullen, he... how do I put it... caught me in the act of changing into a human. He then put his noise in places he shouldn't have. He almost caught my secret... a secret I would have to kill him if he knew.
He did know the secret, but he didn't know it connected with me at all. Most vampire scholars knew my secret, but like I said with Carlisle, they didn't know it connected with me... they didn't even know I was even alive.
It wasn't painful changing forms, but it sure as hell made me thirsty. Thank goodness I had some donated blood hidden in my house. No one would ever be able to find it unless I showed them where it was. But donated blood didn't really help me. I need the blood fresh to keep my form. The donated stuff just made sure I didn't kill anyone, or with a Cullen was close by and I needed a few more minutes as a human.
I sped through town and got to my house rather quickly, just to figure out five people were at the door with... was that muffin?! ... House warming gift. Great, note my awesome sarcasm. I had to keep my human form just in case they touch me in anyway.
This is hell.
