"Hey, what's up? I'm Brayden." the dark haired boy says. He has a thick Southern accent in his voice and gorgeous, blue/green eyes. I smile at him. "I'm Lacey." I say, standing up. "Nice to meet you." I finish. He smiles and turns his head to Summer. "Hi." Summer says. I look her way and see a familiar glint in her eye. I know that look.
Apparently, Jones knows it too, because as soon as Brayden stops in front of her Jones scoots closer to Summer on the bed. I smirk at the situation she's in, the one that she currently is completely unaware of. I look at Cam and our eyes meet. He seems to notice the confrontation too. Guess it's just Summer who's out of it.
"So, I was thinking," Summer starts. "Uh oh." I say, sighing. She shoots me a glare and I laugh at her. "Anyway, I was thinking, maybe we could go downtown instead of hanging out here?" she says. I look around at the boys and they all seem to agree. Cam and Jones grab sweatshirts and pull their shoes back on. I look at Summer and realize that neither of us have sweatshirts.
I guess Cam notices this as well because he comes up behind me and drapes one of his over my shoulders. I shiver as his thumbs slide across my shoulder blades. Brayden pulls off his sweatshirt and offers it to Summer, who gladly puts it on. I take a quick glance at Jones and watch as he glares Brayden's sweatshirt dangling loosely around Summer.

We're downtown in a small diner having some dinner. Cam and I are sitting together on one side of the booth and Summer is sat in between Jones and Brayden. I finish my chicken burger and look at Cam, who is just taking a bite of his bacon cheeseburger. I smirk and reach over, swiping a fry from his plate and giggling as he tries to get it back.
Once we all finish, we head outside and wander into a cute little park. It's dark out and I can see all the star twinkling in the sky. There's a large fountain in the middle of the park that is lit by lights around the base of it. Fairy lights have been hung all around the trees on the perimeter of the park. I smile at the scenery and look at Summer. "Romantic..." I mouth, winking at her. She giggles and Jones, who has his arm around her, looks down at her with a confused look but lets it go almost instantly.
Summer, Jones and I sit on a bench close to the fountain while Cam and Brayden stand in front of it. "Who wants to play a game?" I ask. Summer sighs, "Oh, great. What game are we playing now." I laugh at her comment because we both know that every time I get bored I like to make up stupid games.
"I was thinking we could play the stupidest pick up line game?" I say, raising one of my eyebrows. Cam jumps around excitedly. "Yes, definitely!" he shouts. I laugh at his enthusiasm as all the others agree to play too. "Can I go first?" Brayden asks. I nod and he clears his throat, pulling out an iPhone 6 from his back pocket.
His eyes meet Summer's, her's widen a little bit. He walks up to her and stares at his phone for a second. "I think there's something wrong with my phone." he begins. She starts to look confused before he continues, saying "Your number isn't in it." He finishes his line with a completely straight face before bursting into hysterics with Cam. Jones just sits there, obviously pretending to laugh.
"Me next." He says, interrupting the laughter. He also looks at Summer and smiles. "Hey, are you religious?" he asks her. She starts to answer before he says. "Because you're the answer to all my prayers!" he finishes, taking her hands in his. Cam and Brayden join together in a chorus of "oh!"s. I laugh and the game continues.
