The next day it was raining. It was just me and Summer today. Cole had asked if we wanted to hang out with just him today, but i told him maybe later tonight. Summer definitely needed a girls day. Right now we were watching a movie. It was her favorite movie, The Wedding Date. This was probably the millionth time we had watched it together. We never got tired of it. I looked over to her as she sat on her bed, wrapped in a grass green colored, extra soft blanket.

"Want some popcorn?" I asked her. "No," she said, sadly. She didn't even turn to look at me. She just stared at the TV. "Its white cheddar..." I said, walking over to the tiny kitchenette in or dorm and waving the bag around. She finally turned to me and sighed. "Well," she said. "Alright, only because its my favorite." she finished. I laughed as I handed her the bag. The corners of her mouth lifted and I pointed at her. "Ha! I knew I could do it. I knew I could make you smile." I shouted.

She quickly hid the smile and turned back to me. "I'm not smiling!" she said, quickly. I shook my head. "Oh, no. You definitely were. Face it, I'm too adorable. You can't be around me for more than five minutes without smiling." I laughed, sticking my tongue out at her. "Yeah, let's go with that." she laughed. "A laugh too?! I am on a roll!" I said. She giggled as she opened the opcorn and tossed a few pieces in her mouth.

"Seriously, what's making me smile is the popcorn." she said, matter of factly. I laughed and we cointinued watching the movie.

After we had watched three movies; The Wedding Date, Beauty and The Beast, and Pitch Perfec; I got a text from Cole.

From: Cole :)
Hey, what are you doing?

To: Cole :)
We just finished watching Pitch Perfect. :P

Cole's POV

I texted Lacey to find out what they were doing.

From: Lacey :)
We just finished watching Pitch Perfect. :P

To: Lacey :)
Wanna hang out?

From: Lacey :)
Um, sure. Bring Baylor with you and meet us at the park?

To: Lacey :)
Sure, see you soon. :)

I called Baylor and we met in the lobby of our building. "So, what are we doing with the girls?" he asked me. "I don't know. I thought we'd grab something to eat for now." I told him. He nodded and we continued to the girls dorm building.

Once we got there, we took the stairs up to their dorm and knock on the door. Lacey opened the door and let us in. I walked in and saw Summer sitting on her bed, wrapped in a green blanket. "Hey." I said. She looked over and smiled at me. "Hi." she said, pulling away the blanket and standing up. "Hey, Summer." Baylor sai, coming up beside me. Summer looked at him and smiled but didn't really say anything.

"So, where are we off to?" Lacey asked, jumping over to stand with us. I laughed at her enthusiasm. "I thought we'd go grab some food. How does Outback Steakhouse sound?" I asked them. Everyone agreed so we went down and called a cab.

------------------------------------------------------------

"Hi! Welcome to Outback Steakhouse. How many?" the hostess said when we got there. "Four," Lacey said. The hostess nodded and grabbed four menus, leading us to our table. Summer slid into one side of the booth with Lacey. So Baylor and I slid in on the other side. "So, how has your day been?" I asked them. Lacey laughed. "Pretty uneventful. Although, I did get Summer to smile!" she said, turning to Summer and sticking out her tongue.

"I told you, it was the popcorn." Summer laughed. Lacey nodded. "Uh huh. Okay..." She said sarcastically, very convinced. I opened my menu and pulled out my phone.

To: Lacey :)
Why aren't they talking to each other??

From: Lacey :)
I don't know!! Maybe we should leave for a few?

To: Lacey :)
Good idea!

"Um, I have to go to the restroom. I'll be right back." Lacey said. I nodded. "Yeah, me too. I mean, not toether but I have to go, to the men's room." I said, tripping over my words. Lacey rolled her eyes and grabbed my wrist, dragging me to the restrooms.

Summer's POV

"That was weird." Baylor said after Lacey dragged Cole to the restrooms. I shook my head. "No, this was obviously Lacey's idea. She's trying to get us to talk." I said, staring down at my menu. "Oh, so maybe we should talk then?" Baylor said, almost like a question. "No, we shouldn't. Well, yes..." I stammered. "I don't know, Baylor. What do we have to talk about?" I asked, frustrated. He shrugged.

"We could talk about how pretty you are." I sighed. "Really? Why don't we talk about yesterday." I said. He smiled. "Yeah, that kiss was really something." he trailed off. My eyes widened. "Seriously?" I asked him. His blue/green eyes met mine and he frowned. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"What's wrong? Are you really asking me that question?" I said, getting aggrivated. He nodded, slowly. I shook my head. "Oh my gosh! You can't possibly not know what we need to talk about." I began. He shook his head, a confused look on his face. "Are you kidding?! You just broke your best friend's heart and now he hates us. How could you be so shallow?!" I shouted, standing quickly.

Baylor's POV

"How could you be so shallow?!" she yelled, standing up and storming out of the restaurant. A few seconds later Cole and Lacey came back to the table. "Where'd Summer go?" Lacey asked, sounding worried. I shook my head quickly. "I don't know. She just got up and left." I said.
