Jake's House (continued)

Ella's P.O.V

Now that I had realized my feelings for Jake, I didn't know how to act. I tried to act normal, but I never even came anywhere close to succeeding.

"Hey, Ella?" he said.

"Yeah?" I mumbled.

"I wanna get to know you. Really." he stated flatly.

"What do you want to know?" I inquired.

"Everything." he replied.

"Stalker." I muttered under my breath.

"What?" he asked. "What did you say about me?" He smiled and looked up at me. Damn, he's cute.

"I said, you. are. a. stalker" I stated plainly. This elicited a laugh from him.

"Oh really?" he asked. "What are you gonna do about it?" he reached over and poked my shoulder.

"Oh, game on." I got up and chased him around his living room. When I finally reached him, I grabbed his arm and pulled it behind his back."Say it." I commanded.

"Say what?" he broke into a fit of laughter.

"Ella is the best person ever." I said triumphantly.

"Ella is the most amazing person to ever live. And I mean it." he said.

"Are you hitting on me?" I asked jokingly.

"Yeah, right. Like that would ever happen." I could tell he was joking by the way he said it. He got up and headed to the kitchen. "Want anything?"

"No thanks."I replied.

"Suit yourself" He jumped on the couch next to me and popped an Oreo into his mouth.

"How about a movie?" I suggested.

"Sounds good." He pulled a blanket from the closet by the front door. Just one. "So, what do you wanna watch?"

"How about The Lion King?" I asked. He sat down. "Can I ask you a question?" I inquired.

"You just did. But yeah, sure." he said.

"Do you like me?" I asked. He blushed.

"Well......."
